Damnit how in hell is Death Note not the best manga. And the part where L reveals that
Batman can never get that level of awesome.
Credit to Shortpacked! for my Avatar, which is Clock King, which I colored green to make into a felt member because clock motif, but then ashdenej realized I did a weak job and gave me a better version without my even having to ask.
Your chumhandle is thricelyContemplated, and you speak with threee repetitions as oppposed to the usual two.
tower of god
its a korean manga aka manhwa but its GOOD
damn GOOD
Why am I still trying to finish Ergo Proxy after six months?
Why is nothing happening?
On an completely different note. Baccano! is an amazing show and everyone should watch it, because it's only thriteen episodes (don't count 14-16), and it has Brooklyn accents. BROOKLYN. ACCENTS. (Dub's amazing, just sayin'.)
Guys, I need some some new manga suggestions. And don't say bleach because everyone has said that and it makes me want to strangle the suggestor. I want something thats not running anymore and not being milked.

This seems like as good a time as any for me to recommend Eureka Seven Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN Eureka Seven. I first watched it years ago because a friend named it as his absolute favourite anime ever, and I can see why. It continues to amaze me how easily and adeptly the show manages to jump between comedy, drama, action and romance.
Just don't expect tons of mech fights just because there are mechas LFOs mechas. Like I said, the show jumps between genres a fair bit, and the focus is usually more on the characters.
Did I mention the mechas are surfing mechas? Who surf on light?
Mobile suit gundam is the best anime in existence.
The into is basically, this song and then some guy saying half of the human population is dead.
Good contrast.
There is this Manga about wine tasting that hasn't come out in America yet. I'm really excited for it though because I'm a legit stooge.

Gaze at it! Gaaaaze!
Edit: Spoilers but your eyes will glance over them because you are a lowblood who has no taste for fine wine.

I'm watching Higurashi no naku koro ni kai right now and it's kind of boring. The first series was pretty interesting but this one is so dull...
The last two series I watched were Madoka and Cromartie High School and they were both exceptional. I don't hear about it too much, but Natsume Yuujincho is a good one that I was fully prepared to dislike, now one of my favorites. It's similar to Mushishi but not THAT awesome.
Visual novels.
Are the best.
Better than any anime. 83
See this? This is an Anime series worth watching.
Twice.
Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is my favorite anime.
can you tell
My favorite anime is Baccano! It has all the things I like. Gangsters, the Supernatural, over the top comedy and violence, plot twists, and a halfway decent dub.
Baccano is a pretty masterpiece of nonlinear storytelling indeed!
Rail Tracer is the coolest insane solipsist in anime. (It probably doesn't have many of those)
Most recent excellent series I finished was Revolutionary Girl Utena. Actually pretty old, but it has solid animation and is just generally cool. All fencing, Jungian Psychology and Gnosticism... turns very weird.
The joke-episodes are also hilarious. SURFING ELEPHANTS!
Ok, so, two words.....BIG O.
Seriously though, Big O is one of my all time faves. The WTF factor rises pretty high throughout the show, especially near the end but don't let that stop you. Just go along for the ride. If it interests you, it's been compared to Batman the Animated Series in terms of style and action.
Even if you don't care for the show, please check out the soundtrack. Some of the best blues/jazz music in anime can be found here. On a rainy day, nothing beats this:
Everybody out of the god damn way. You got a hat full of bomb, a fist full of penis, and a head full of empty.
