Wiwaxia@Nope. He's badass and has only gotten cooler in recent times.

I'm waiting with anticipation for the day that him and Xykon throw down.

Not necessarily. I have a feeling that Tsukiko's aiming for some blackmailing, if she's revealing this to Redcloak right now, instead of going behind his back to Xykon.

Except Tsukiko probably has a high enough fort save to survive.

Possibly. But that's a dangerous game to play with people with power levels like redcloak.

The first thing I asked myself is, isn't Tsukiko a high-level arcane caster?

She is a Mystic Theurge, probably with cleric/sorceror levels if i recall. Mystic Theurges get to be badass at casting both arcane and divine spells, so its a given that she is very interested in this here scroll dealie thing
I really should see about getting a new signature.

...damn. That... is pretty horrific. Props to Redcloak, though, for horribly murdering people other than the Resistance.

Daaaaaaaaaaaang villains. Not going to lie though, I thoroughly enjoyed the last few pages. I love it when characters reveal their depth.

What do you know. I was right.

...Not gonna lie, kinda wish I wasnit it because wow Redcloak. Wow.

Although...he really should be respecting Xykon, so much more, otherwise...well, If Redcloak can do something like that, I shudder to think what Xykon would do to Redcloak if he had reason too.

We've seen what Xykon can do when he actually cares. (Especially in Start of Darkness). He just has to remember that 'not caring' isn't the same as 'being stupid'. He's done that once before.

It's so easy to fall into Xykon's game though, because he can play the classic villian and turn off all those cliches and classic weaknesses in an instant. Which, as a huge fan of supervillians just jarrs me so completely. Just so easy to start playing Xykon's game, and then after you roll double sixes he just reaches across the table and uses paralyzing touch on you and throws you out the window onto the roof of the closest jail.

Unless the guy was wearing spikey armour, I doubt it. He's got this dreadful style with him to make little "fuck you" references.

You can't throw people out windows. He'll have the jellyfish on it.

Re: The Order of the Stick

The last few pages (especially the most recent- Tidying Up) have really been hammering it home- NEVER mess with Redcloak. Ever. He might have acted ineffectual and dimished before, but it really just goes to show that he'll do anything to get what he wants. He's capable of anything, and everyone is an impliment to futher his plans, as far as he's concerned. Makes him scarier than Xykon, in many ways.

Yeah, but messing Xykon can be just as bad sometimes. Remember him vs. V?

I still fear Xykon more by a long shot.

It was once said there is nothing more intimidating that a man who is determined to do what he thinks is right.

That man never met Xykon. An insane murderous loonie that has the power, will, intelligence and sheer saviness to do and get whatever the hell he wants and with absolutely no unnecessary morals, limits or restrictions to hold him back

Yeah, dealing with Xykon can be like juggling grenades. One false step and you're a stain on the wall

Re: The Order of the Stick

Oh, Xykon is dangerous, I'd never deny that, and Redcloak has to be and is very careful. But he is aware of that, and has been for the past 30 years. It would be rather disappointing if he ended up underestimating Xykon, since he hasn't so far. But we'll see.

That being said, I have to wonder what Redcloak intends with the fake phylactery.
