I love Vaarsivus. Just saying.
I agreehis next appearance is going to be hilarious as well. Also, the flying carpet made me laugh out loud for way too long.
Honestly, I actually do buy into Vaar's androgyny. I think of them as a guy as often as I do a girl.
Ok, the 'Ring of True Seeing" gave me a good chuckle. Sometimes it is worth reading through the walls of text to get the little jab at the end.
Does anyone else think there are a lot of similarities between Vriska and Miko? Mostly with how the respective fandoms feel about them, but also some in-story as well.
formerly the color blue.
Well, one might say Vriska is associated with white through the Light symbol--Miko is also sort of related to light. Also they are both murderous assholes who are nonetheless in some respect good-aligned, both almost had a relationship with the main character, both arguably screwed all the protagonists over and both died unceremoniously.
EDIT: And each of them was on one end of a joke involving ethnocentrism which was one of the most famous gags in its respective comic. At least if I'm recalling OotS's correctly.
In addition to the similarities autoglassmasterclass and GiltCipher pointed out, they both killed someone who was supposed to be on their team, and they were both very powerful characters combat-wise. And (this one is a lot more subjective) both could have redeemed themselves, with time, but the circumstances of the plot meant they didn't have time, so their efforts at redemption ended up being too little, too late.
EDIT: Also, in both cases you could make a case that their flaws were consequences of their unusually harsh childhoods, in Vriska's case because of spidermom, and in Miko's case due to being an orphan who was more or less raised by the sapphire guard.

New Linear Guild + phylactery recovered -> pose as a team, because things are about to just get real.
V's kids referred to hir and hir mate as "Parent" (the baker) and "Other Parent" (V), if I'm not mistaken. XD
Well, it might just turn into a x3 showdown the way this seems to be building up. Unless Redcloak decides to keep the phylactery as some sort of bargaining chip. Though he could've done that a long time ago, it's only recently his and Xykon's goals seem to have begun clashing so dramatically.
BTW, still haven't read the prequel books; they're on my "To Buy" list for the future, if no MSPA merch shows up that has a serendipitous relationship with the money on our home bank account. :P
Let's just say, Xylon is one huge asshole.
Mother-PEEPers.
hes kinda chill if you ask me
althrough he does seem to have a thing for taking over the world and also being ruthlessly inconsiderate for the lives of everything ever
but hey that is to be expected, cut the man lich some slack
I really should see about getting a new signature.
Oh no, he's cool, hilarious and "chill"
He's just also a gigantic asshole, like, if countries were ordinary assholes, he'd be Jupiter.
Mother-PEEPers.
#826, Redcloak's so badass.
Mother-PEEPers.
Well that was gruesome.
Is it bad that I'm rooting for Redcloak here? I always liked goblins, and never did like that whole "always chaotic evil" thing.
