The two main culprits behind this is A——a and A——r, of IC² (sic) and TC2 respectively.
Here's a small article with a "medical journal" spin to it. And because it has such a spin, names have all been changed. Just keep in mind that "Aachen" = A——a, "Meitnerium" = Minecraft, and "Project Holland" = IC² (sic).
Code:
[08.05.12 23:02:58] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: Monomethodicalism (Mo·no + me·tho·di·cal + ism), n.
[08.05.12 23:04:42] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: Monomethodicalism is a state of mind in which one individual, due to powers either real or fabricated, finds or has a way for everyone in a given group to reach a given target with a given method, and only allows that one method to be used.
[08.05.12 23:06:32] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: This syndrome is harmless in and of its own; however, it hinders free communications and furthermore reduces one's ability to bond with another and hence procreate, therefore it is a Aegrituda Potentialis.
[08.05.12 23:08:02] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: Currently this socio-biological disorder can be seen in various individuals that have created open-ended programs, chiefly the creators of modification of a certain sandbox game that probably remains unnamed but may not certianly be.
[08.05.12 23:10:10] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: These subjects, initialed A—a, A—r, and S—r, do have some real power, but often their perceived power is higher than their real, showing how monomethodicalism aslo has shades of potentiaggrandization, superiority complexes, and inflation of ego.
[08.05.12 23:10:58] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: Case study:
[08.05.12 23:11:39] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: (Note: for the remainder of this article the three individuals in question, A—a, A—r and S—r, are aliased Aachen, Argon and Strontium, respectively.)
[08.05.12 23:11:49] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: Case Study 1: Aachen.
[08.05.12 23:13:31] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: "Aachen" is the founder of a modification of "Meitnerium", which for the purposes of this article will be referred to as "Project Holland".
[08.05.12 23:14:18] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: "Project Holland" is an expansion modification of "Meitnerium" that adds many new things into it, chiefly of the theme of mechanization and other clichés of the nineteenth century.
[08.05.12 23:14:49] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: Hailing from Central Europe, "Aachen" tends to show (or feign) interest in the English language by showering his catchphrase everywhere.
[08.05.12 23:15:27] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: However, there is little doubt that "Aachen" does not share the properties of many of his compatriots.
[08.05.12 23:16:09] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: "Aachen" is the top leader of the main discussion arenas of "Project Holland", and rightfully so. He also runs the information database on "Project Holland".
[08.05.12 23:16:30] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: However, as so it happens, "Aachen" doesn't like people peering into "Project Holland"'s source code.
[08.05.12 23:16:57] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: People do that, mainly to find out more information on the game, and generally find the best way to progress in "Project Holland".
[08.05.12 23:17:11] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: This apparently angers "Aachen", and this is where his monomethodicalism starts kicking in.
[08.05.12 23:18:32] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: "Aachen" prefers people to play "Project Holland" in a "legit" manner, which is to say by trial and error and no one shall release any data gained – enforcing a copyright of sorts that prevents discoveries to be shared.
[08.05.12 23:19:37] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: However, "Aachen" has stated that no one shall release any data gained from reading the ultimate source – he has stated that those who have done so and published it within "Project Holland"'s discussion arenas will be swiftly escorted to the egress.
[08.05.12 23:21:31] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: This is the diagnosis of monomethodicalism – despite reading the source code of "Project Holland" in such a way that you can glean information from it is perfect and hence good, "Aachen" forbids it.
[08.05.12 23:23:48] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: The problem is of course that "Meitnerium", on which "Project Holland" builds on, has not had this restriction since its inaugruation, resulting in a large discrepency in the self-same fans of "Project Holland", which by definition, has to be fans of "Meitnerium" as well.
[08.05.12 23:24:19] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: Furthermore, the information database of "Project Holland' is incomplete, especially when compared to "Meitnerium"'s.
[08.05.12 23:25:23] Isoraqathedh Zorethan: This implies that monomethodicalism can affect the information integrity of items that are not first-order related to the person having the syndrome.
Yes, I realized that doing the redaction thing on modders like they are ponies is pretty out-of-expectations. But somehow, this is one of the few ways that I can get this kind of ideas out.

All in all, let me end by saying that IC² and TC2 deliberately withhold information from the go-to Information Cornucopia of their respective official wikis. This is misleading, and in some extreme cases can be used to sneak code into the computers of unsuspecting users, to ill effect. Just look at "Strontium" and his "Fermium-Dysprosium" and you'll see.
