So I've been thinking about strategy in a pvp ultrahardcore setting. (mental exercises yeah!) If you accidentally find early diamond what would you make? Would your answer change if you get 2 diamond or 5 diamond? Here's my answer:

-if I only get 2 diamond I'm getting a sword. I don't think it's worth saving for other items, swords give enough of a bonus.
-I will NOT get a pick at 3, still sticking with a sword and saving one.
-4 I have no idea what I would do. I think I would still get a sword, but if I'm full health maybe boots would be better? sword gives an extra 1/2 heart damage, but boots give an extra 4% damage reduction. I'd probably go with the sword.
-But at 5... at 5 I would get a pick and make an enchanting table. I feel like the benefits from enchantments (especially on a bow!) would be greater than the benefits from a diamond sword.

So Technic has added another mod pack (sorta) to its list. This being Hack Slash Mine. I've played it with a couple friends and its very fun.

Very VERY fun. Seriously. And its only in Alpha.

The only problem is that if you wanna do multiplayer you have to find a 1.2.3 version of a minecraft server and modify it.

One floor of a tower had 5 spawners in hack slash mine.
The game wasn't "fight the raptors and zombies," there it was "wade through the raptors and zombies while spamming arrows"

So, guys, about that Mindcrack MSPA mansion...
They're going to do a wipe pretty soon so everyone starts off fresh once they get the new server stuff ready, but I found an island pretty far from spawn. (The seed is going to be the same)
It's at X 2287, Z -911.

I got on there for maybe an hour yesterday before it lag dropped me, but the chat moved so fast I couldn't read any of the /help options. Is there some kind of teleport or warp thing set up?

yeah you can set a spot to /home and type /warp spawn or /warp shop. that's really all I know though

All the lag is clientside, actually, I get nothing, and neither do a lot of people.

The bonus chest is actually random, I got no food in this world and I got only three wooden pickaxes in the previous one.

They're actually just infrastructure building.

Massive feature updates are on the way, but slowly.

I'm on, and I think I found the area Tren was talking about. Its been visited by maybe two people besides me, but noone has claimed the land with the land claim function, so its probably still a good spot for a potential mspa area.

EDIT: Or actually, a little bit is claimed, by Tren, so no one else has found it, good. (Is sharing a claim possible anyway?)
