A magical style is like this:
Name: Mechanical mastery.
Focus: Autonomous gears, he has to perform a ritual involving a lot of glyphs and everything to turn a regular gear into an autonomous gear, once the gear is autonomous it can be used to create autonomous machines.
Profile(s): Autonomous machines: Any machine he assembles with at least one autonomous gear can move on it's own within the machine's capabilities. He has full control over the machine's movement but has to devote part of his concentration to it at all times.
EDIT: Appearance (just in case): The most notable thing about Ferro is that he is most often seen with protective eyewear and a toolbelt. He has black hair an is often seen with a stubble.

Profile: This style of magic requires the user to make one-liners before being able to cast a spell. It usually involves buffing a character's...physical prowess, or other things, like regeneration. The better the one-liner, the more powerful the spell can be. Also, high ego can increase a spell's power, but how this works is, as of yet, unknown.
In terms of appearance, I could care less, but he has to be wearing shades.

Focus: Random objects that have connections in other places to ideas. The stronger the cultural link, the clearer the magic.
Profile: Associative Magic. This magic really depends on what type of item is being channeled. Items that are really not unique do either nothing or something completely random. Objects such as a famous painting might have a stronger effect. Generally, things that seem more of a peaceful relic offer defensive or stat-improving abilities. For example, a tapestry of a hunt probably would boost attack or whatever, or in lucky cases summon creatures to attack the enemy. An obviously offensive relic like an inscribed halberd would just launch powerful magical attacks when lucky, and probably just power up for the most of the time. Objects such as Lead Brick would likely just draw their energy from the general knowledge of the object. The brick would probably just poison stuff, but due to its generic qualifications, it would likely just randomly poison and crush things. He used to use this to make selling items more attractive, by supposedly 'enchanting' or 'blessing' them until he took a risky move in using a random ornament someone asked him to enchant. It didn't turn out well, and the person found out about the actual magic involved.
Historical Recall occasionally does really awesome things. Think of legendary relics.
It also brings actual purpose to having around a billion 'useless' items.

Also, some instruments can only cast certain spells (e.g. drums will probably only be related to water, and not anything else).
Profiles: Literally anything! The kind of spell used, however, depends on the music played. Most instruments are restricted to one kind of element.

Profile: Literacy terms made real. For example, a plot hole would open a hole in a nearby wall for escaping through, or foreshadowing would give the caster an idea as to what will happen in the next hour.

Escapist. Able to vanish without a trace from all but the most contrived of situations.
Impromptu tailoring. Excellent at stitching, patching, and simply creating new clothes out of older ones.
Flaw: His skin is extremely sensitive to sunlight, as are his eyes-- within a minute of exposure, he develops severe 1st degree burns unless covered again. He developed his tailoring skills out of necessity, since he needed clothing which covered his entire body, a garment which isn't common by any means. He wears heavily-shaded round glasses during the day, ensuring his eyes never need to adjust to evening darkness, but his night vision is entirely normal and, in fact, slightly worse than average.
Equipment: Two (2) Thick Spiked Leather Gauntlets, one (1) Tailoring Kit complete with 5 needles and 8 spools of black thread, one (1) Set of Lock-picks, one (1) 5 metre Length of Rope, and one (1) Dusty Leather Crocodile Hunter Hat, with teeth replaced by various minor elemental capsules (2 Minor Rock Capsules, 1 Minor Smoke Capsule, 1 Minor Dust Capsule)

Focus: Exposure to the cosmos. During the day, the sun provides a great amount of energy, while also providing a horrible sunburn should Paz remain exposed for long. At night, the stars and the moon, while significantly less potent as a source, constantly revitalize him through any exposed flesh, harmlessly.
Profile: Has the singular ability to manifest elemental "capsules" (may be abbreviated as caps), which contain a variable amount of power and consume a variable amount of energy to create, fully under his control. Spells he learns will either allow him to create new types of elemental capsules or will strengthen/alter the ability in some way. Although the capsules do not always act exactly as the spell would, their strength may be easily stored for later use. The minor smoke and rock caps on Paz's person were his creations, and after several scrapes with the law, he anticipates being able to use them without peacekeepers breathing down his neck.
