Yes, it is the Kin group.
They're quite reasonable when they're not trying to kill other groups, it seems.

Well hell. I've been ignoring this comic for years because I have a hard time getting past the art. Just started the most recent book and I am really seeing the appeal. I have some things to reevaluate.
The early art is pretty funky. But once you get to Brassmoon it gets better very quickly.
These Kins are the best
i would like to know how they even got up there though
I really should see about getting a new signature.
I suppose they went up the same hole? I would say that the shield Minmax put down to on the hole only slowed them down.
Oh yes ofcourse they were back there werent they

yea, see.
this is why thunt is awesome

Still trying to power through from the beginning. Thanks fully he seemed to tip the gag-a-day/drama ratio early on. I'm just learning about one-winged goblin chick. That's cool. It's a pretty cool story line. Every interesting. Probably the most interesting thing about it is that is NOT JUST PAGES OF KORE COMPLETELY RUNNING SHIT.
Tauhid for when you catch up: Thunt (short for Tarol Hunt) seems to post his new updates in flat colors and then go back about a week later usually I think to add the shading. So when you're caught up, don't forget to check back every now and again for updated art.
To others: am I the only one who never really got that into Tempts Fate? It doesn't capture my interest that well...
I enjoyed the earlier bits, but I got a bit disinterested as Tempts just got stronger and stronger.
If i remember correctly, his power was proportional to how much the donations exceeded Thunt's goals
I really should see about getting a new signature.
Finally caught up on Goblins. Gotta say, this was a very pleasant surprise. WAY better than I thought it would be. Very clever and incredible attention to detail. The art has gotten much better over the course of the thing (especially the shaded pages). His anatomy is still pretty wonky but definitely improving. I can't wait to see what it looks like over the next few years but probably the most impressive thing about it (speaking as an artist) is Thunt's fearlessness when it comes to drawing what's in his head. Most artists would be afraid to even attempt to draw a slave tent, full of slaves, sliding down the side of a mountain or any one of those dungeon puzzles, or some of the complicated fight choreography that he does, but Thunt just goes for it. And even when it's little off the mark or difficult to put together visually, he still gets an A for effort.
The writing also caught me off guard. The character relationships seem like they're going to be silly and joke-based but when a goblins eye's start glowing and he rages out because his buddy was injured, it doesn't seem sappy or overly dramatic. It seems sincere. I bought Dies' friendship with Klik. I'm buying Minmax's romance with Kin. Read as a whole, the pacing is pretty much perfect and the characters develop very roundly. I would definitely buy a book. Probably the only thing about the comic I'm not looking forward to is waiting weeks for pages to come out. I can imagine the pacing gets a little tedious at update speed.
