War never ends, don'tcha know?
Oh, a Goblins thread. You know, the only time I see people discussing it, it's about the squiggle art. It took me quite a while to stop seeing it, admittedly.
I will say switching perspectives often leaves me a little confused. Sometimes there are jumps in which I'm not sure how characters got from one place to another. It would probably help if it were more distinctly correlated how the stories of all parties are linked to one another, more often.

I am sorry, I don't think there's any call to be rude or dismissive. If you didn't want this conversation to continue in this thread--or if you feel that way now--please simply say so, rather than being unkind. My post was not directed at either of you, so you don't need to enter the discussion unless you really do feel you have something to add. Thanks for understanding.
Pardon, but... I don't really think there was any dismissiveness or rudeness intended from them, and I also don't think that either of them were intending to throw away your claims. However, when someone publically responds in an open manner to a few comments that were made nearly two pages ago in a thread, there's going to be some notice taken, and some comments saying something along the likes of "is this still going on?" are to be expected. It's more a matter of human nature in response to unexpected and uncommon events than any rudeness, really - I'm pretty sure neither of them meant any harm and there's no huge evidence to the contrary, and Codfish's comment could easily just be interpreted as a lighthearted joke with no offense meant.
Regardless, I think you were on the right track in your original post - the debate should best be solved through PMs at the moment, and every public response is just going to metaphorically stir up the hornet's nest again. No offense meant, again, but I felt this should be said.
DB has it right. Im not spending time in this thread in order to talk about an argument that was, if not resolved then atleast forgotten, and which i honestly never wanted to be part of. Whatever.

I would also like to encourage further discussion be moved to PMs, as I would prefer not to have drama storms that have already blown over come back around weeks later.
Biscuit is extremely entertaining.
Its been some time since focus was on the GAP. I need to find out whats going down with that!

Given that the GAP's entire thing is that they're, uh, Adventurers, I would not think it would be very likely for Chief (or his player, more accurately) to be phased out of the story.
Then again, having a spirit quest thing in the afterlife could be somewhat negative because it could be considered as just "ripping off" OoTS, which did the same thing. Then again, Goblins is a different story entirely and apart from focusing on a DnD-inspired questline, the two comics do NOT have much in common.
I guess I'll just wait and see.![]()
Gah, I don't want Chief to come back. I thought he was great as a character, but when you kill of the characters I like, you better do so permanently, or I stop caring. Fortunately, I don't think reviving the dead is anywhere near common in the Goblinverse.
Oh god, Biscuit. Oh my god. You really are K'seliss reborn.
Biscuits is rapidly becoming my favorite character after Big Ears. Minmax has actually made his way up to third.
So I wonder if the the name seer named him Dies Horribly because she knew it would end up Chief Dies Horribly. Which just happened.
A laughed a little.
Goddamn you, Thunt. You had this planned from the start, when you named each character, didnt you?

God fucking damn it, I owe someone money now because of that update.
So, someone pointed this out on the Goblins forum. I'll go ahead and post it here:
"Chief Dies Horribly"
Poor Dies.
He is not very happy to be Chief Dies Horribly.

And all of a sudden she doesn't seem to give a shit about her son being lost/dead.
What a bitch. :I
it seems to me like most of what they've said beforehand was basically pretending to give a shit, given the circumstances of where they threw all of the other "released" slaves
they only want revenge/power, and apparently being struck down wasn't enough of a lesson the first time around
That sounds like an accurate description of what their deal is.
She'll probably just end up starting a massive war and losing, and then the GAP + Chief Dies have to fix everything. Except theres a twist. Theres always a twist.
