Do not worry, I am certain Bubblebeard is a professional.
Silly little Cucumber and his worrying about things.
Welp
That sure was a reference
No.
1) Bubblebeard is still the best
2) COME ON CUCUMBER what else could it have been? Gosh, you'd think he'd get a clue by now.
Cuco is under the impression that the world functions in a logical manner.
It's what he gets for reading all those silly fantasy books with all those humans and whatnot.
Team Cucumber's blasting off again...!
Oh my god it all makes sense now.Originally Posted by gigi

I'd pay to see a comic just about his adventures.

"It should be understood that competition in chess problems is not really between White and Black but between the composer and the hypothetical solver (just as in a first-rate work of fiction the real clash is not between the characters but between the author and the world), so that a great part of a problem's value is due to the number of 'tries' -- delusive opening moves, false scents, specious lines of play, astutely and lovingly prepared to lead the would-be solver astray." -Vladimir Nabokov (Speak, Memory)
Cuco you need to learn how to land better come on dude.
I am not sure if there is a solid age but I always thought he was like, 12, 13? If there is a canon age, it is probably in one of the questions that Gigi answered on tumblr.

I FOUND IT
catrente asked you:
What are the ages for all the characters in Cucumber? (I’m more interested in Almond and Peridot’s, but having the rest would be super cool, too.)So yea, he's like twelveish or younger depending on what you call a Young Adult. The characters in CQ don’t have concrete ages, actually! They fit into these groups:
Kids - Cucumber | Slightly Younger Kids - Almond, Peridot
Young Adults - Saturday, Baguette, Tartelette
Adults - Carrot, Cabbage, Bagel, the BLTs
Old People - uhh we haven’t met one yet but Croquembouche
??? - Dream Oracle
No, he is like nine*.
Cabbage told us as such.
*Nope
Not every story needs to have a shoehorned-in romantic plot, and it is possible to read a story and enjoy it without wondering which characters should be shipped.
e: I say the second part because I saw some fandom!secret where someone was like "I watch this children's show with a niece and ship the characters in my head"
wait here it is

Good enough for me.Cucumber is married to his education. Will cucumber have a love interest?
definitely panic if there’s caviar
That's
Kind of the joke?
Like there's a whole pattern going on where you've got all these typical fantasy adventure tropes running around and Cucumber is ill-fitted for all of them
"Destined to love the princess" would just be another on the list that he does not follow at all.
