Wow, here I come out of nowhere just poppping into this thread again.

Hey guys! I'm sure if you're in the Carolinastuck Facebook group (I am told someone posted it on here?) or check the Carolinastuck tag then you know about the Carowinds meetup. If you don't here's a lovely post about it (hope you don't mind me using me using your reblog as an example because for some reason the text won't show up on my blog) and here's the Facebook event. (if you're not on Facebook or tumblr you can message me here telling me that you're interested in going)
Woopwoop! I am so excited for this! I'm thinking of going as Rose because she's the only homestuck character I do that has short hair. As long as I french braid my real hair and bobby pin the wig down nice and tight, I should be able to handle rollercoasters. I can't even imagine the damage that winds of that kind would do to my Jade/Vriska wig. :O

But right now we're just trying to see how many people are going to I can apply for a group rate at Carowinds. I should be able to get a rate in a couple of weeks and know how much it is for each person/if we have to prepay but it'd be great to have you guys on the forums there! c:

Ah, Carowinds. Damn shame I'm not a huge fan of theme parks. Or high school kids. I'll probably be working at some weird-ass job that day anyway.

Hey guys, I was passing through Statesville, NC earlier today when I stopped at a Sheets gas station to pick up some food, only to discover that THEY TOTALLY SELL FAYGO THERE. And not just one or two flavors, I'm talking like THE WHOLE FUCKING ASSORTMENT. I considered buying some but, I was really, really hungry and I didn't want to get something I wouldn't be sure that I would like. Plus I've heard Faygo is pretty nasty.

UNC has some homestucks, but it doesn't seem to have nearly the concentration of State for some reason.

Hmm...I will have to fix this situation.

I'll probably be around at State every now and then if I go see my friend. Maybe I'll purposely wear Homestuck clothing when I go over.

Technically I live in South Carolina, but there's a close enough distance between me and the border that I don't think it really matters, especially since the concentration of Homestuck fans tends to be very small! It's nice to see lots of people in places I know, though.

But I have a friend who wants to go to State in the future (only a couple years) and she was so thrilled to hear that there are Homestucks there! Hopefully you guys will still be there by the time she gets there.

(replying late!) Yes there are Homestucks at UNC! But not many who I've met. I have my friend, who I've converted. And several times when I had 10 minutes between class and work and was rushing through the quad, I saw some guy who has John and Pisces shirts! But alas, I was in a hurry. Another time I saw a guy as I waited to get in a classroom with Dave on his phone and I briefly spoke to him. He was so shocked to see another Homestuck, heh. But alas, I had a test, and I never saw him again. I also have some friends who read up to Act 3 and failed miserably. Don't I have such great luck.

(If any of those dudes, or anyone else, read this - know I'd love to meet around campus and talk about Homestuck! Also, I'm in Chapel Hill right now. So just say the word. I live in Raleigh near State, but only during certain specific time intervals.)
