In all seriousness, this is the culmination of a good six months of work from myself and several others. I hope to continue with the project, but I'd like to see some significant feedback first. If you’re interested in contributing, the door is open to all. Just post your stuff over here.

Speaking from personal experience, developing our own spin on trolls and the established setting has been lots of fun. And yet, if I was to start posting what I've got, lots of it would conflict with the biological and social details we've each developed.

1) AUs make it really easy to have different canons from different people if they want to keep things separate. We can have the comic trollverse, the Enchiridion trollverse, the Project Insert-name-here trollverse, the insert-username trollverse etc, etc, all existing in peace side by side, much like Forum Adventures.

2) Mostly a place to dump my own head-canon and get a significant amount of writing done, though I had originally hoped that it would turn into a Big Book of Troll Fanon.

3) There's nothing a bit of editorial tweaking won't fix: I use a sort Sailor Earth Principle (if it doesn't contradict the Big Rules, you can fit it in somewhere) Completely different troll societies and biologies? It could be a lost colony cluster that developed completely differently and just got re-united to the Empire. If someone's willing to contribute it, I'm going to do everything I can to make it fit somehow, while still keeping what the original author intended as much as possible. And actually, I'd prefer if someone posted stuff that had some conflictions, because that means I get both the workout of meshing the two together, and the whole thing isn't so single-faceted. (Translation: please post, it's lonely talking to myself. )

Well, trolls already have Troll Will Smith and Troll Pokemon, so Hussie sort of set precendent for the idea of "trolls having the same things humans have except with trolls".

Most of those homages were due to me not having any good ideas to write that day and going "how about x, except with trolls", and since this is a for-fun not-serious worldbuilding thing, I put them in.

Hullo hullo, looks like I finally am getting around to V.2 of the Enchiridion.

For those of you who have no idea what this is, it's basically seventy pages of AU headcanon from me and some other contributors on the subject of trolls. It was inspired by an early episode of Pesterchum Radio, where I believe Zuki said she was always disapointed in seeing space-opera fanfics about the empire at large go nowhere, and by my own dissatisfaction with seeing hordes of fantrolls that never really did anything different.

And six months later, here we are.

Anyway, download away.

The Enchiridion is open to anyone who wants to use it for fanfics/fanart/roleplay or what have you. Just make sure to give credit where credit is due.

Also, if you want to discuss it, here is a good place.

I might take up another project like this, do things a bit differently, but for now, I'm satisfied with how it turned out.
