practice fire, done after I discovered a way of making fire look like fire.
it still looks kind of like a crystal though.

@Hyper-Deity, Just a word on coloring, fire is generally Brighter and more yellow in the center, and gets more Orange, red, them red/brown the futher out you get, ahtogh it's not very exact.

@ bandages, do you ever do anything that isn't a freaky vibrating GIF?

@Deity, what doorhandle said. plus, there should be some transition from white to the yellows and oranges on the cooler parts of the flame (the tail, edges, etc.) before becoming red.

I finished this little thing yesterday...I've never actually drawn a running figure before, and this was drawn from reference though I think her limbs still look askew (specifically her left arm). Can anyone help/critique? Thank you.

Also, the scarf and some of the hair should be a little more blown back due to air resistance. Secondary movement and all that. That bear has the right idea.

Mm. She's supposed to be running, though I suppose the movement isn't conveyed very well - probably also due to the scarf and hair.

I'll edit the rules to clarify, but for future reference probably everything over about 600kB should be linked, in order not to lag browsers and also for the benefit of those few humans not on broadband/operating with a cap. Don't worry, it's not just about animated gifs; pngs can get pretty big too.

The only issue I can spot is on the leg farthest from the viewer. Basically with the skirt. It just doesn't quiet match up. Though Door likely has a point.

thanks duder! For some reason it completely escaped me that we'd forgotten to mention file sizes anywhere in the rules.
