Alright, so I dedicated today to finishing my Homestuck re-read, since I had yet to do the last two days, opting instead to save them for when I was too bored to do anything else, to make the hiatus go faster. Like the last few hundred pages were my 'last resort' so to speak, my trump card that I could pull at any moment if I needed a heavy dose of Homestuck. And that day was today. Day 21 - ACT 5.2 - The Collage Becomes Clear

The first one or two sets of photos and their scenes is just so... amazing. A single emotion spans and pervades this entire 'arc', and it's so powerful. So empty. So quiet due to the sudden lack of narration in favor of pestertext. "Somber" isn't exactly the right word for it, but it's the only word I can think of right now.

"pipefan413: Years went by. The girl was nearly ready to put her plan into action. But then, just like that, the baroness disappeared. She was never seen or heard from again."
DID SHE GO TO THE POST-SCRATCH KIDVERSE?!

Bec is just fulfilling his role as an agent of Sburb by killing the final frog to ensure that when Jade tries paradoxifying its slime imprint into the session, she doesn't transportalize the whole frog. Because after all, First Guardians are meant to facilitate the ultimate purpose of their planets, ie get them in position to create a new universe. This fits with that completely.

I may just be reading into this too much, but could this be implying the pre-scratch trolls were made in a session from the kidverse/postscratchkidverse?

I recently re-read Homestuck with my mother. We are currently at the beginning of Act 5 Act 2. We've stopped, but might pick up again. I am also currently doing another re-read with my brother, which is still ongoing, and probably will continue until he is caught up, at which he will probably join the ranks of loyal MS Paint Adventures readers.

As for PS, I think I'll try to re-read that one in the morning. I quite enjoyed it, especially the segments with Dame and NB, though it isn't nearly as good as Homestuck.

Almost certainly 6/12. Any time before that would mean starting while people are still in school (some people would still be in school even on 6/12 though not many), and starting in july again would make the re-read go into the next school year for those who start school in August, which isn't great either. This one will be longer because we are going to read not only homestuck... but all of !!!!!! So basically the same as the 2nd re-read but in order and also like 3 extra days for other stuff besides PS and Homestuck.

well the rough schedule is first few days we read andrew hussie's old pre-mspa stuff, then jailbreak and bard's quest in one day, then problem sleuth for a few, then pre-Homestuck primer material (if anyone remembers, it was a sort of Day Zero for the very first re-read, where we read stuff like the Higher Technology thread that spawned SBAHJ, Hussie's book edits, the Saw thing, etc.). That'll be like what a week or so? IDR how long the PS re-read was. So if you just want to re-read Homestuck and nothing else, there will be a little time beforehand.
