In the interest of preventing this already-somewhat-unpleasant situation from becoming even more so, I'm going to lock this thread. If Thunder Reign ever decides to continue the story on this forum, she can PM me or any other mod to get it unlocked; for the moment though, there is nothing to be gained from allowing this discussion to continue save for arguments and another round of canon versus non-canon infighting.

From a moderation perspective, as well as a common decency one, it is most unacceptable to say things like "If X gets more views than Y, you can kiss Y goodbye" in an attempt to guilt your readers into abandoning X (or even without the attempt at guilting, simply because insulting or demonizing another adventure is rude and petty). I can't control what people do off this board, but linking to offsite places where one attacks or degrades onsite material is similarly uncouth and frankly childish.

If anyone feels like they need to continue this conversation with the author, then I encourage them to send her a PM or use the askbox on her tumblr. For now though, there is no reason to drag things out in public, or to continue this trend of nastiness.

I ask again, please treat everyone with respect, even if you don't respect their creative process or products. That is the core value on this forum, and the main tenet of its rules.
