Dan vs. Karkat parallels and overshadowingly popular pony cartoon

I felt this show was worth making a thread over and discuss a bit.
The other show that I will check the hub programming schedule for, Dan vs. is a Flash animated cartoon on The HUB channel about Dan who may or may not be human Karkat and his two friends who end up involved in his elaborate revenge schemes against insidious but seemingly innocent things. I like it because of the humor it has and the improbable yet relate-able premise. New episodes for the season stopped a few weeks ago but lets discuss this show for a few pages before the thread slides away. There is some who believe that people who work on this show read homestuck
and art gets made.

(I'm sorry whoever's bandwidth I'm taking but my comp is to unreliable to re host to my own sources without crashing)

I've seen this show through my guide ever now and then, and I kept meaning to watch it. After seeing this thread I decided to look it up online and watch it.
It's fantastic. It deserves more popularity.

I've only seen a few episodes, as in, right now, and I'd say I'm a fan.

A few of the jokes lack subtlety and the animation could use a bit of polish, but it is still good.

EDIT: I can't help but wonder what this sociopathic man child does for income.

The problem with getting an opinion on this show is the difficulty in managing to watch it. It seems that there are tons of trailers online but it seems a bit difficult to get an idea of what the show is online and TV showings don't look common either but the humor is somehow mature but just immature enough.

I loooove Dan Vs. Even though I don't have Hub, I've seen every episode! My favorite would have to be Dan Vs. Burgerphile. It's just... it seems like they could show it in theaters and I'd pay to watch it. That's how amazing it was to me.

Also, I was raised with Kids in the Hall and Bug's Life, so hearing Dave Foley again is always refreshing.

Originally I had the same thing in mind, but then I realized that Dan is voiced by Curtis Armstrong, and he's using almost the same exact voice he uses for Snot in American Dad. It's harder to take that voice seriously as a Karkat voice when you keep imagining him as a Seth MacFarlane dude.

Dan must really hate My Little Pony for sucking up all the attention. He must therefore get his revenge on Lauren Faust by bankrupting Hasbro.

And as an aside, going through the website, I was pretty much close to strangling the artists for having nearly everyone in the exact same pose, and one the tends to irritate the crap out of me.
