Is it me, or are we making the trolls a MASSIVE no hugging, no kissing species? Matesprits can't see each other until bucket day, and the ONE SEX EQUIVALENT THEY HAVE is entirely no-contact. In fact, it's considered TABOO to have contact during it. Am I the only one bugged by it?

Matesprits can see each other whenever they wish. It's just that some don't until bucket day.
Anyway, all of that was my doing. Mainly as a way to eschew normal troll romance and avoid any buckettalk.
But there are some justifications behind my madness.
1) For trolls, physical contact is more associated with violence than intimacy. Being raised without parents, they are completely unused to the idea of troll-troll contact when one is not injuring another: Lusus-troll contact is equated with safety and security. Moirailship is the closest to this relationship, and tends to revolve around a far deeper and trusting bond than redrom (which can easily flip to black, so arms' reach is standard procedure just in case), and so is the most likely to involve physical contact.
2) The troll reproductive process is entirely artificial, and the species has been engineered to keep it that way: The empire's gotta keep that shit regulated. And furthermore, they don't have any external genitalia, and the sexual drive has been heavily muted (thanks to thousands of generations of genetic meddling). Sex is business, not pleasure.
Think 1984, except the trolls banished the idea of sex millennia ago. It's something that animals and savages do, in a troll's eyes.
3) It's unsettling and alien to us.
4) I don't like troll romance
Whether or not this works is up to debate. Most likely, if I do another project like this, it'll be changed.
A recently discovered cult that branched out from the Path of Mirth, the Church of Honk has an older history than first though; its original date of birth was believed to be 16986 POU, further theological inspection has put its origins back several thousand sweeps, somewhere around 12476.
Unlike the followers of the Path of Mirth, subjuggulators who join the Church of Honk will not accept numbing their minds with sopor slime and instead heavily rely and use pale relationships. While only purple blooded trolls are considered to be of appropriate caste to join the ranks of subjuggulators, many trolls of lower castes, especially ranging from yellow to teal, have joined due to the necessity of their services, most of them showing potential as high level empaths.
The jobs practiced by these mid and lowbloods are mainly defined by the type of quadrants they are engaged in. Monks, lowest in grade, favor auspisticism whenever two or more of the near-insane subjuggulators need to be calmed down. Thus they are easily replaceable recourses, as they can mediate between any pair of their superiors, but sometimes they cannot contain the level of enraged madness. That is the role of honk priests and priestesses, who successfully establish a moirallegiance with their deranged higher-ups.
These subjuggulators, lacking the traditional method of keeping themselves calm, are more dangerous to their surroundings, more prone to simply chose to obliterate any source of annoyance an much more possible of acting haphazardly, without any apparent motive.
Nonetheless, they are devoted to worshiping the Mirthful Messiahs and are fervent waiters of the Vast Honk, religious beliefs that not only concern the subjuggulators but also the other trolls working for them, as they have adopted the beliefs of their superiors.
The Tyrannus Abdicate
An honored member of the Church of Honk, subjuggulator Zetanmar, a troll of high rank in society was initially a former follower of the Path of Mirth, residing on the planet Ayn'Amir, recently colonized in the first sweeps of his life. Not being a typical individual of his caste he was extremely weak physically speaking, but showed remarkable hypnotic abilities, an unusual mutation, as high caste members do not normally posses psychic powers. Due to a certain chemical compound in his lusus' venom, which was administrated to him in small dosages from early in his life, his body developed immunity to the sopor slime that would have normally kept him calm. After culling several of his brethren in faith, which he somehow achieved without using physical force, he was assigned to the Church of Honk in order to somehow keep him calm.
After several occasions of auspisticistic attempts gone wrong he somehow found himself in a moirallegiance with a yellow blooded priestess,a legendary figure of devotion, Enteleia, who rather than being an empath was a potent psionic, and had joined the Church in order not to be recruited as a navigator. After what historians agree on to be about 25-30 sweeps, Zetanmar was still being kept perfectly calm, until being he confessed bright red feelings to Enteleia, feelings that turned out to be unrequited. After this denial, the priestess found calming him down impossible, and after an attemp that ended up almost killing her, she fled.
Zetanmar rallied his fellow subjuggulators by promising might and culling the moirails and auspistices of the noncomplying ones and waged war on the followers of the Path of Mirth, who at first were caught by surprise. Reasons behind Zetanmar's actions have not yet been identified, if there even are, but theories exist about revenge for being 'thrown out' to a lesser cult or introduction to feelings that would end up in his emotional breakdown.
As the planet was farther from the main planets than being a nuisance to the Grand Highblood of the age, Zetanmar had the freedom to purge several other planets from the presence of the Mirthful Followers. After two sweeps, cultists of the sector faced certain annihilation, as Zetanmar gave himself the title 'Mirthful Tyrannus' and took control over most inhabitants, assimilating him into the Church of Honk. Legislacerators were sent to capture him and laughsassins to end his life, all futile attempts.
Meanwhile, Enteleia, distressed by his former moirail's actions, sought out an audinence with the Grand Highblood, who, in a particularly compliant mood, offered the help of several subjuggulators directly under his command, and that of a skilled legislacerator of the time. The legislacerator devised a plan to fool Zetanmar, convincing Enteleia to return to him and pretending to share his feelings of matespritship.
The plan was an overwhelming success. Zetanmar abdicated his rule to leave with Enteleia but was swiftly captured. His successor had nothing of his fierce hatred towards the Mirthful Followers and the Church of Honk was quickly driven back, almost to the point of extinction in the sweep 16940 POU. It took its followers about forthy more sweeps to build up their religion again, date which was first thought to be the birth of the cult.
After being sentenced to death, Zetanmar was completely calm. The betrayal of Enteleia had the opposite effect of her denial towards him, which in turn let him think clearly. Still suffering from the betrayal, he told the Honorable Tyranny Enteleia was his accomplice, and the Grand Highblood, being present at his trial, was quick to sentence her to the same fate. They were both executed few days later, ending the influence the Tyrannus Abdicate had over the Church of Honk.

Thanks a lot, it was a random contribution though. Me and my brother have quite a few ideas, will be uploading if you're interested.
Will there be a v3? Because this shows tons of promise.

Not technically, now that I've switched to a googledoc people may download and change as they wish, and I haven't worked on it on months, but I am all for-some new stuff. Post / upload away!
Is there anything you particularly like/dislike/think should be added/think should be fixed?
Qarestel, the Universe Explorer was one of the few trolls who enjoyed the special favor given to few by the Empress, the gift of longevity. Thus his lifespan not only exceeded by a tremendous margin that of a normal brownblood, but he lived long enough to see the rule of three separate Empresses.
His earliest actions recorded started in 8023 POU, when he was recruited as a navigator. Strangely, he possessed only slight telekinetic abilities and would not have been a good navigator if not for his exceptional cartography skills and his extensive knowledge of space travel and mechanics. He would rely on other navigators to move his ship while he would calculate the shortest or safest route. His goal was to chart even the most remote corners of the know universe, and he fervently did so for many sweeps.
His medical condition was worsening though, as he did not stay in sopor stasis while mapping out the paths for his ship. His psychical condition reached a point where it separated his personality into two distinct ones. He would often act as a calm and composed captain, if not un-troll-kindly kind sometimes, but after hyperspace travels trolls in sopor stasis would often go missing without trace.
In sweep 8047 his talent as a navigator of space was recognized by the highest castes, and he was assigned to the ship of the Empress herself. His service on the ship culminated in his avoiding an ambush that would have otherwise cost the life of the Empress and the crew, for which he was rewarded with the gift of longevity.
After the death of the empress he was kept on board to serve the next one, who also kept him in the job. In this period he is known to have contributed large amounts of data about the cartography of the universe. He surprisingly outlived this Empress too, and his outstanding performance earned him the prize of serving under the next one.
Somewhere in the sweep 8871, when the continuous exposition to the negative effects of hypertravel already had him positively senile and unpredictable. In a fit of schizophrenic insanity he tried to dethrone the Empress herself. His actions were classified as mutinous and he was executed shortly after the incident.
Well I've been mostly skimming over it and fixing typos
But about the content, well, it's pretty well fleshed out. Maybe there's a little less canon information or information about canon stuff than it would suffice, but as it is AU, it doesn't really matter.
A thing I am unsure about: is Mindfang's matespritship with the Summoner erased here? As the Summoner has not even been born when the Sufferer was already dead according to canon, and here they partake in the same rebellion.

Nope, not erased, it just passed my mind as I was writing it.
Each sign relates to a certain blood color. Each troll is assigned a symbol once they survive the trials and gain a Lusus. Aside from the carpenter drones, the young trolls are given a newly hatched symbol drone. This drone lives longer than the carpenter drones, who die once the hive is built. It is designed to spend up to two sweeps with the troll so that it can decide which symbol most fits their personality. This drone takes a roll similar to a god parent, and helps the Lusus to take care of the troll. It then chooses from the list of signs that are ingrained into its subconscious at birth. Once the symbol is chosen, the drone is killed by the troll's Lusus, if the choice had taken less than two sweeps. If it had taken the maximum time, the drone begins to die and chooses the symbol on its death bed. It can not converse with the troll, but it is able to speak with the Lusus. The Lusus goes to the caverns where drones create the shirts. Those drones create a shirt that corresponds to the troll's symbol, blood color, and size.
EDIT:
One Control
An "adolescent male troll song group" that is popular on Alternia. It's members competed on the popular TV show The Cull Factor and became famous for surviving, despite their loss. Its members are Niyall Horran, Zaaynn Mallik, Liiamm Paeyne, Harrey Styles, and Louisto Minson. Each represents a different place in the caste, ranging from high blue blood to maroon blood.
Hmm. Yeah. MCQ would probably be assassinated mid-show. There are plenty of ways to get fans and non-fans to slaughter each other without open rebellion (see: the My little Hoofbeast Massacres)
@OA - I believe he meant the first two are moirals, and then the others are just there.
Yeah, only 48 signs? Symbol drones are OK, but 48 signs?
I think Vriska stated it somewhere....I'll fix it. Sorry guys.
EDIT:
I'm female. I know you have no way of knowing that, but just for future reference. I'm not meaning to be rude, so I apologize if I am coming off as such.
Say-is there a group in troll military which is just like pretty standard military (In better terms, similiar to Imperial Guardsmen.)
Yes indeed. It's really just called "The Guard" because who am I kidding, it's the IG with trolls. Because the IG fucking rocks.
Here's pretty much all the sub-divisions of the Alternian military:
The Imperial Army – The overarching ground forces of the Empire: includes the Guard, the Guard Rangers, the Expeditionary Forces, the Order of the Undermind, the Drone Hordes, the Slave Militias, Colonial Security, the Sentinelium, Special Operations, and the traditional War-Castes.
The Imperial Navy – The ocean-going forces of the Empire, a source of pride for the seadwellers that make up its base. Outside of the navy proper, it includes the Sub-Aquatic Corps, the Semi-Marine Assault Forces, and the Reaving Fleet.
The Imperial Air Force – Those forces deployed within the atmosphere of a planet, including the Manned-Corps, the Droid Corps, and the Drone Corps, the Support Corps, and the Transit Augment.
The Imperial Space Force - All groups designed for war outside of a planet’s atmosphere, including the Astronomic Navy, the Guild of Navigators, the Union of Terraformers, the Space Marines, the Spacewalker Corps, the Exploratory Fleets, and the Fleets of Terror Suppression.
