Macs have a right click, you just have to press a key on the keyboard to get to it.
Speaking of macs, my school distributes Mac laptops to each student for use in class.
God damn, I am never, EVER buying one of my own.
In my Freshman year, the screen decided to randomly make high-pitched noises and flicker when it was cold, and half the lights at the bottom don't work, so now there's a weird spotlight pattern down at the bottom.
In Sophomore year, hoo boy.
First the charger broke due to consistently overheating after being plugged in for an HOUR. AN HOUR. My mom leaves her Dell charger in perpetually and it barely gets lukewarm. The Help desk blamed me for "winding the wires too tightly, and kinking the inside of it" For one, no, I wound it the way I was supposed to. For two, the wires inside are made of metal. Unless knotting the inside snaps the wire in two separate pieces, that would do nothing.
Then, the click broke. The trackpad just decided to stop clicking for some reason. Except for when it came back on and started preforming every click I'd try to do, at once, while randomly moving the mouse across the screen.
This is when I started taking my laptop to the school help desk. Big, BIG mistake.
It decided to shut down and not come back on, on a full charge. Took it to them, they neglected to fix the click, and somehow shut off the only fan. By the way, the bottom looks like this:
And the fan is on the very bottom of the computer, the vent is at the top, between the speakers and THROUGH IMPORTANT MACHINERY. So then it started overheating every single day. They fixed the fan, but the heat problem remains, since I can't turn up the brightness all the way for more than 5 minutes without being in the danger zone.
I take good care of this laptop, never eating or drinking near it, and never moving it outside the case. I haven't dropped it once, and it has more than triple the amount of problems than my mom's 3 year old laptop.
And Apple gives these computers to our school at an 80% discount in order to potentially convert PC users. It doesn't work.
