While it looks at this point like we won't hit our "by the end of the month" prediction, we are
REALLY,
REALLY
CLOSE.

A few of the last key elements have fallen behind due to health issues and real life concerns that take priority.
Behind the scenes, we're just as frustrated with the delays as you are, and we're scrambling to get this to you as soon as we can.

These full life consequences have created one good thing: now SBURB OST will come out long enough after CAM B that it will not be ignored in the midst of a new official album, and long enough before Volume 9 that people will be able to enjoy it before we go under massive attack from the Music Team's first album in 7-8 months, meaning there'll likely be 165 songs :P

Yeah I'd been kind of thinking this too. I've been looking forward to hearing this album for a while, but if it had come out a week or so after the contest albums then it would probably have been a bit less exciting with there being so much new Homestuck-related music in such a short time. But by now I'm back to wanting to hear more new music so I'm pretty excited for this (whenever it does actually come out)!

so yeah when do we get to be kinda cheesed off about this??? At this rate, Volume 9's gonna beat you guys to the punch, and considering the stuff the music team likes to spike it with that is a pretty dangerous proposition. Not complaining 'cept for how I'm totally complaining oops look at the entitled fuckface.

You're not really entitled more concerned that people will miss out on the album if it comes out too close to Volume 9, which I am too! :/

We understand. Volume 9 is a valid threat, but we are still pushing to get it in a releasable state ASAP.
also, while it hardly makes up for it, the delays have given me time to whip up a few BONUS TRACKS...
