To be fair, my first impulse upon seeing the fact that it was "thought to be official" was that it would look less official if you photoshopped a giant "UNOFFICIAL" rubber stamp onto the header images, background images, and cover arts. (Snort.)

Just curious though... Once we are able to download these, are we allowed to use them in stuff like YouTube videos if we give proper credit (for something like an [S] update for a fan-venture)? Would we need to find and ask permission from the track's composer?

So guys! Some facts!
-The album will indeed be released on 4/20
-The homepage will be hosted on Skaia.net, with embedded streaming players from Bandcamp
-The Bandcamp page will not have the option to download; free downloads from Bandcamp are quite limited
-The album will be available in mp3, FLAC, and Ogg (and potentially more if other formats are requested)
-The album will be downloadable by way of torrents, and possibly a filesharing site

The answer to the second question is indeed yes.
It will be hosted on a brand new Bandcamp page; we're still working out what the url will be. We did have arrangements to put the album on Homestuck Gaiden, but much the the chagrin of pretty much everybody, Andrew has ordered that it never receive new material.
