I'm starting at DeAnza College (in Cupertino, California) tomorrow for the summer quarter, and I plan on wearing either an Eridan or a Squiddle shirt. Hopefully someone will recognize it.

California, Humbolt county
Maybe 3 or 4 other fans here.
I'm in California, Irvine/Tustin border essentially. Still yet to meet anyone who reads Homestuck around here other, although an old buddy of mine was a Problem Sleuth fan.
I'll also be up in Washington for PAX this year.
California, Stanford area!
The only person I know who reads Homestuck in my area that I know of is a person I've converted, unfortunately.
Okay, Bay Area fans: Let's have a hypothetical moment!
If there were a casual meetup, in what sort of general range would it have to be in order for you to make it?
Likesayforexample, I'd be able to get to anywhere from San Francisco proper to...mm about Mountain View, maybe farther but my knowledge of the geography gets shaky. And I'd greatly prefer it to be somewhere within walking distance of CalTrain/MUNI/BART. Buses and VTA light rail and stuff possible but I admit to not knowing the systems.
I ask because I am very, very bored.

I live near Santa Cruz, California, but will be moving to San Francisco in the fall (art school whoo!).
I would most definitely not be averse to a San Francisco meetup. :33 It'll be easier in the fall once I've moved into my dorm and everything, because that means I'll have less shit to coordinate with my parents.
I got converted, I didn't really know about it in the first place, and generally just put off reading jailbreak and problem sleuth, but read homestuck right after problem sleuth
I'd be down for any kind of gathering in the Bay Area, as long as I have no part in coordinating it. I'm notoriously pretty awful at coordinating.
I could show up anywhere in SF, provided I could find it without getting lost.
Au revoir, Spidertroll.
I have 0 monies, and I could not spend a dime on this, also, I am underage.
I'll be in San Fransisco for the next week an a half or so, and if I'm ever going to come to such a gathering, it would be easiest in this general week.
What part of san Diego? O: I'm in SD too, but everyone that I've seen from san diego so far has been way too far north![]()
For people residing down here in the San Diego County area, I am wondering if there is an interest in doing a small get together somewhere? Obviously it would be a public place like a park or something! If there is interest, PM me or just reply to this post and I'll see if we can come up with some PLANS. Or something. (I am not THAT good at planning teehee![]()
@Acey Enn, sure! If there is one (no guarantees, I'm just interest-checking) it'd be somewhere large and public anyway. The more fans the merrier.

Yeah, a park would be a good idea. Really the only obstacle would be finding a fair location. I can't recall who suggested it (Edit: it was Afniel), but somewhere within walking distance of the train would be perfect.

If there's a San Diego meet up I'll see about getting down there since I'm really not that far, plus my friend is taking summer classes at UCSD anyway so I have an excuse to be down there.
I live in Portland Oregon! Land of Rain and Hipsters. I go down to San Luis Obispo, CA several times a year. I also visit my family by Sacramento and in Boise, ID on holidays.
SCIENCE FOR THE SCIENCE GOD! EVIDENCE FOR THE EMPIRICAL REASONING THRONE!
Walnut Creek, Bay Area, CA!
Well, actually I just visit about three days out of every month because I had to move to buttf*ck hot Arizona, but if there is an arranged meeting near SF I'm reasonably sure I could make it down there to attend.
FURTHERMORE, SAN DIEGANS:
COMICON. PREVIEW NIGHT IS MY SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY. THE FACT THAT I CAN'T FIND A HOMESTUCK MEET FOR THE LARGEST CON (I believe) IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE IS MAKING ME WANT TO SOB BITTER TEARS OF DESPAIR.
Please tell me it's been arranged, I just can't find it, and link me there. If not: Lets make it happen, those of you with ever-elusive tickets. (OH BY THE WAY I MIGHT HAVE AN EXTRA FOUR DAY PASS OR TWO~ *Incentive*

oh my goodness, i know! Either I've got to be missing something or those tickets really were tough to get (i only refreshed a few times.. i think i was lucky? heh).
If there's an interest in a meetup, would it be alright to hold it the weekend of the con? Even for those who don't have tickets, people who are going could meet outside the convention center and we could have it somewhere downtown or near the grassy areas in front of the center? And I'll try to find fans within the event and invite them! idk .o. it'd be cool if we could make this hapen
Sounds like a plan to me! I'm there all four days, as either Robin a-la Dick Grayson or Aradia, so let's pick a date and a place! Someone has to do it, I suppose. Sooo (and I'm just throwing a date out there as a starting point, anyone feel free to tweak if it doesn't work for you) maybe Saturday (so we have two days to run around frantically and tell people about it) outside of Exhibit Hall C at 1:00 PM ? And then we can just tour the town like 'COME AT ME BRO'?
I'm a lame LJ hipster, and as such don't have Facebook, but if anyone is reading this does could you make a group for this meet? I mean, I will be telling anyone who looks at all homestuck-y to be there, but it's always nice to have a solid reference point.

So I think we should all get in this thread: http://www.mspaforums.com/showthread...mic-Con-meetup and talk about a time and place.
Another Portlander here! _o/ Hoping to jump the river for Kumoricon this September, but we'll see if I'm still in the area at that time haha.
Hello everyone! Psych from Cali!
I live in a valley :Y
I'm a valley boy, relatively near San Fran.
The land of heat.. and heat.. and oh god so much heat man!
I'm also more than willing to meet up. Of course time is tight but if anyone wants a meet up I'll try my best to attend.
