my only quirk is that I almost never capitalize the beginning of sentences.

but I do capitalize I and proper nouns.

those take precedence, so if I is at the beginning, it will still be capitalized.

I also tend to convert question marks to a period.

like, what are you talking about.

also, I'm sure that most people have noticed my tendency to double space.

My roommate uses apostrophes in place of her commas.

Whenever I use more ten 3 same lettens after each other, they always multiply with ten.

Well, I don't have a typing quirk (besides not bothering with capitalisation unless I'm trying to make a point or posting on a forum), but I used to have the verbal equivalent - II uuseed too stuutteer oon aall oof my vooweels. And it got really annoying. To everyone, in fact.

I also use a lot of emoticons and elipses, but I will use none in this post.
I guess I also mash the keys or type yelling noises when I'm mad instead of just using caps lock. Though, usually I'm mad at an inanimate objected or event and not the person I'm talking to anyway. (e.g. ARHGARHGHGHRGAHJSRGAKSJHRGASJHGRAJHSG)

I always join Æs and Œs, unless they are meant to be pronounced separately, or when the things are brought together because two words happen to create it.

Then there's the hand-writing thing of writing uppercase Es, lowercase Ds (when the insular variant is used) and all Vs and Ws with a whip at the top, as well as a lowercase I that uses a looks like a lizard.

Ever since an amazing trip to Japan back in Grade 11, I've developed a habit of randomly bowing to people as a way of saying goodbye or as a sign of thanks.

I can't explain it.

This happned to me, with the only exception being mine was in tenth grade.

i pretty much have daves typing quirk
i mean punctuation needs to be a lot more optional these days
and why abuse that poor little shift key it never did nothin wrong

Actually posting, though, I go for the grammaregularity since it's a more formal kind of thing. If I'm adding a quick note to something, all pretense is dropped and I just blast it out.

I also kind of have a daily life quirk in which I never walk where I can run. You would not believe how much time it probably saves, and how much foot cramps it sometimes causes. People will be like "what why did you run away from me when we finished talking do you hate me" and I'm all like "no brah i just run everywhere because why not". And my actual talking quirk is imitating the voice of Jason Steele. (it is uncanny i swear) So yeah.

I've found I begin conversations as though they have been going on for a while. =/ Somewhat awkward for the person I am talking to sometimes.

I am also an Interrupter, though I have become aware of that and have been trying to stop doing it. ><

You guys, I've pretty much gotten every quirk possible from reading Dinosaur Comics.

Ones I think developed independently from that:

Expressing excitement about something by repeating a word twice (sometimes three times) at the beginning of a sentence, i.e. 'Guys, guys;' 'Wait, wait;' 'Oh, oh, oh;' etc.

Heavy use of parentheses to try to make sentences more precise (but usually ends up only making them more incomprehensible), unfortunately common in already long sentences (making things even harder to interpret).

Treating everything as a list and cutting out 'I' from the beginning of sentences. Like 'Did laundry, taking a shower now. Later will be dancing under the icy moon.' Exactly like that.

Those are the more concrete ones, there are more abstract ones like 'mentioning a silly idea, spend a paragraph building it up, then propose it actually sounds pretty cool now.' There's also 'mention something trivial, become focused on turn of phrase, shift points.' Tons of stuff like that where I react to my own post within the post, I'm a bit formulaic.

The last two concrete ones bug the crap out of me, I've been trying to control them because whenever I read something I've wrote with them present I'm filled with a white hot fiery rage. I do a fucking pirouette off the handle. And you guys, I am Buddy Rich when I fly off the handle.

Oh yeah, also I reach for references whenever I can, especially musical ones.

Also I tend to go on for far too long.

I've typed in so many quirky ways over the years you guys wouldn't even believe it.

i started out without capitalization of any kind, and i can't remember if i used punctuation or syntax properly or at all.

Later After A Friend Bothered Me About Never Using Capital Letters I Began To Type Like This, I Proceeded To Do So For The Next Several Years, Much To The Fury Of Many People.

I eventually Weaned myself off of that atrocious Habit, although for a while I still had the Tendency to Capitalize words that seemed important At The Time. Even if they didn't Deserve a Capital Letter.

Of course now I type as properly as I possibly can, using as close to perfect English as I possibly can.

And through every single one of these phases I was constantly playing with quirky things to say and strange ways to speak.

My typing is awful and my iPad tends to autocorrect sometimes, so I'll get strange autocorrections when I dint thank them. Like that.

One of my quirks is to say I have quirks that are actually made up and I've only ever done them once.

Mm, I've actually started unconsciously adding "mm"s to my sentences, as well as saying "mhmph, mhmm" at times. It's like a verbal quirk {that I don't actually have} being put down -
Maybe it's because it helps me to be personable? Who knows.

Well I *almost* have sollux's typing quirk on my phone. The I and T key and like 4 others I dont remember do it when I type fast, so my senttances loook liike thiiss somettiimes. Or close to that anyways.

I also have an odd habit of capitalizing random words but I dont do that if I am paying attention anymore...

Oh, and I dont like '. They annoy me and are hard to reach.

Apparently my cousin has taken to littering her speech patterns with cat puns. This is especially weird because she has no idea what Homestuck is.

For my Sburb RP I hæve a more obvious typing quirk þæt is consistent wið my Germænic gimmick but I guess I have more subtle and complex ones too.

When I'm in a rather boisterous and eccentric mood, it is common for me to randomly BURST INTO ALL CAPS AND COMPLETELY NEGLECT PUNCTUATION WITH THE POSSIBLE EXCEPTION OF A SINGLE PERIOD.

My text is littered with original onomatopoeia that are imitations of my primal gruntish speech--that is, "gruh" "graah" "blarr" "grarrg" etc, that are usually expressed with annoyance.

When I am poking fun at myself, or expressing my distaste for something depressing and/or distressing, I mostly neglect both capitalization and punctuation, like this:
