    Current Dinosaur Comics Discussion: SPOOKS!

Discuss the latest Dinosaur Comics comic (with dinosaurs) in here! Latest comic:

Alt text: two comics in as many days with terrible puns in them? YES. THIS IS A GOOD THING.

RSS feed text: what t-rex was going to say was that a certain Dromiceiomimian friend of ours was seen leaving the troubles she'd accumulated behind! man! good for her!

Email text: t-rex's new friends are the strong, silent, also offpanel type.

I'm suddenly reminded of those Scooby-Doo episodes where one of them would be talking about food and the monster would be right behind them and the other one is trying to tell them that the freaking monster is behind them.

How can you be seen leaving your troubles behind? Was it some kind of acted out metaphor where she had a big ol' burlap sack labelled "TROUBLES" and she threw it in a river and walked away whistling a merry tune?

Just beclaws puns are terrible doesn't mean they are any less fun. I love many terrible things, like Domino's Pizza.

Yes, this is now 100% canon.

This is kinda suspicious behavior. If I saw someone doing this, I would call the police. Or the dino police in this situation, because I am in a dinosaur in this hypothetical.

EDIT: Upon further consideration, I would probably just stomp on things and talk about it if I was a dinosaur.

I'm putting "Dinosaur Comics Co-Author" on my resume now, I hope that's okay with you.

I was sending dinosaur comics to my friend when all of a sudden, she went "Dinosaur comics should never have a plotline. It would be more convoluted than HOMESTUCK."

NATURALLY, this means I should go run off and make a fanventure where T-rex finds Sburb.

(this has no relevance to the current conversation at all)

    Yes.

Ok, so, I didn't see that punchline coming at all. And also I love the "As she is played" series. What I'm trying to say is that I might also love you, Ryan North.

Are we going to keep all comic discussion in the same thread or make separate threads for each individual comic? The xkcd forums make a separate thread for each one, but dinosaur comics might be confusing because they don't have names.

I would keep it in one thread, someone can post the most current one each time for convenience sake.

I wanted to make a [S] T-Rex: Enter, but there is the problem of me not having any measurable drawing skills

how on earth do they manage to fill threads for each comic?

"yeah this one really speaks to my (inability to function in society)(frustration with women/dating)(ability to laugh at every nerd pop culture reference)(love for references to something I learned in physics last week)"

The problem is, this might be the best comic ever made. It's all downhill from here, people. I have nothing to look forward to anymore. The rest of my life will be hollow and empty. Thanks a lot, RYAN.

HE WARNED YOU ABOUT THIS BRO

Okay, I think there was another comic with a premise that fit a bit better but I can't find it or remember exactly what it was

Yes, that was the point. It's supposed to be an equivalent to the MSPA Comic Discussion thread.

This has already been my headcanon since the pterosaur in EOA2. I mean come on. We already know what killed the dinosaurs. A meteor.

Well sure, a meteor could have done it. Mass extinction by huge rock from space, it could happen.
The smart money's on the butler though.

Clearly, they failed to enter the Medium in time to escape the meteors. Probably because instead of entering the Medium, T-rex spend his time alchemizing hundreds of houses, then stomping on them.

Re: Current Dinosaur Comics Discussion Thread: GOSSIP.

Okay CLEARLY T-rex is a Hero of Time and the little house is the item his pre-punched card produced - stomping on it takes him to the medium. But he keeps messing up his session! So he needs to use his time-travelling skills to go back to just before he enters and try again. Over and over. Forever.

Interesting that even though this is obviously a MSPA forums, my mind goes straight to Legend of Zelda? I mean, he's green. Thats basically where the similarities end though...
