The Wanderer still manages to protect Sombrero, despite taking massive damage himself!

Albert is unable to Shapeshift into something less corpsey as Albert is currently limited to One (1) Shapeshift per battle!
Did I not mention this limitation earlier? Oh well.

Turns out it totally is, and the Wanderer gets a FACE full of CHAINSAW traveling at 250** SANICS!

Sombrero: I don't even know what your abilities are? Do something at least.

And he certainly does. Sombrero De La Poncho cloaks himself in a fiery shield! Any contact with him now inflicts Burn Damage, and he's obviously shielded as well.

Wanderer: Gun down the green one

Edgar now also suffers from reduced accuracy and perception!

Sombrero's Shield. Godfoot and Sombrero both take a moderate amount of damage. Seems the Wanderer is learning. However he also seems to be less willing to take Sombrero's damage now.

Albert and Edgar both Bleed onto the flaming cloak.
The Shield's power is weakened, but Edgar and Albert both take some damage from the blood loss.

Wanderer: Finish their leader

The Wanderer unleashes a storm of bullets into Edgar, killing him.

Sombrero: Fireball? Some sort of flame based projectile at least

Sombrero throws an Infernosphere at Albert, causing severe damage!

This update's excuse for lateness brought to you by finals and laziness. Also there will be some traveling abroad done by me pretty soon, so no updates for almost two months when that happens. I think I may be able to get an update or two in before I go though.

Albert uses Solartech: Blinding Brightness! The Wanderer gets a faceful of LIGHT, leaving him disoriented and easier to hit.





CHAINSAWFACE takes the opportunity to CHAINSAW the Wanderer in the FACE. Also in the hat.
The Wanderer does not take kindly to this. Or to the chainsawing of his face.

Godfoot: Heel Albert.

Godfoot uses his Holy magic to healheel Albert. Albert is now back to full health.

Godfoot: Heel self.

Sadly, impossible. Godfoot is a lesser deity, and as heeling magic is based on creation and restoration of matter, you would need a being capable of creating lesser deities in order to heal one. For balance reasons, less deities cannot do this.

Godfoot: Sockittohim! and by him, I mean the wanderer

Godfoot does however execute the double-foe-kick-attack again, so that's pretty cool.

Didn't think I'd remember that did ya? Anyway Albert misses and the Wanderer doesn't. The bullet hits Godfoot and kills him.

Sombrero: Fire your fire based fire attacks at the guy who fired the lightbeam.

Sombrero fires up one of his flammable-est attacks, the Lavawave!



It hits Albert full on, killing him.






Only CHAINSAWFACE remains with a single piece of hitpoint against both the Wanderer and Sombrero. This seems less than fair to you.
Since there's only two of them.

Feeling a bit conflicted, you consult your preferred god of Chances. It instructs that you enter No Drugs Here Inc.



Suddenly, it strikes you that the establishment may not be very honestly named. In the center of the giant room sits a huge pile of Rage Dust. This stuff is extremely dangerous, both for the user and everyone around them. Even a dose as small as half a gram is fatal to most species, but if you do survive you are in for some serious shit. Rage Dust, as the name somewhat implies, makes you angry. Really, really, angry. The kind of anger that shuts down your reasoning, your pain receptors, and your speech functions. It is extremely valuable, especially with mercenary types wishing to perform better in battle.

You'd think it be more heavily guarded, honestly. That guy standing beside it doesn't exactly look the part.

"Excuse me? Hello you over there?" The guard approaches you.



"Yeah sorry you're not allowed in here actually. Terribly sorry, but you have to leave."

Uh.

I'm tempted to suggest hurling him into the rage dust... but honestly, I think it'd just super power him. Apologize, turn to leave, then suprise attack him all at once.

This strikes you as a monumentally stupid idea. We'll call it Plan B.

"I really doubt you can outbid Mr. Adam, sir. It is quite a generous offer he's made me, and I'm a lizard of my word. You need to leave, before I am forced to escalate the situation to violent means, sir."

I'm tempted to suggest hurling him into the rage dust... but honestly, I think it'd just super power him. Apologize, turn to leave, then suprise attack him all at once.

You ponder for a minute the option of just tossing him into the drugstack, but ultimately realize the narrative would most likely cause this to backfire massively. You opt instead to utilize a surprise fake out attack. You turn towards the broken window through which you entered, hopefully fooling the guard, and give the signal to assault him.



CHAINSAWFACE and Albert tackle the lizard and predictably knock him straight into the pile of Rage Dust.

Nothing happens. He probably inhaled a bunch of it and died. Yeah, that seems logical. For once, everything went pretty well, you think.
