No, I'm just currently in a position that makes it incredibly difficult to get ANY work done. It'll definitely get done, it's just that current circumstances will not allow for it. It's very likely that the new thread won't be here until September, and there really is no way I'd be able to make up for that much of a gap in updates. I've been considering announcing a hiatus, but things right now are just so... uncertain. Just... don't expect anything, I guess?

That is an old gag, though I think the original was Slick riding Sawbuck. A year or two back there was a fad for scattering a small gif of it around ones posts. (Jumping randomly through space and time is just what will happen if you keep hitting Sawbuck.)

As for it being original, I don't know.
