I'd probably point at them, name off whatever their shirt is in a way that goes like this for maybe a john slimer shirt or something "Holy shit, it's John Egbert!" ANd do a running hug scene with them, or Quietus: Reunite with homestuck fan you've never met!

I'd never do this if I already knew them though.


If ya'll ever see me, i'm the tall handsome fella in the beatnik/lennon style shades, and possibly sepulchritude shirt, or maybe in the future, a what pumpkin Sagittarius shirt.

I got recognized wearing the awesome Dave shirt at Seattle's Pike Place Market. It was pretty awful actually, since it was a trio of roly-poly-trolly looking ladies in AnImE cOsTuMeS and I was with a friend.

I'm ever vigilant for others wearing homestuck merch, but if they exist in Seattle, I guess they just don't ever go outside.

I'm starting at DeAnza College (in Cupertino, California) tomorrow for the summer quarter, and I plan on wearing either an Eridan or a Squiddle shirt. Hopefully someone will recognize it.

If I saw someone wearing a Homestuck shirt, I'd probably freak out about it.. and then be too shy to approach them..

I probably wouldn't get any of the Kid's shirts because it just so happens that they are perfectly generic shirts, although a SBaHJ or a troll shirt would be sweet. NOt to mention any number of problem sleuth shirts.

I don't have any Homestuck merch, but I have a Problem Sleuth lotus fractal shirt. I've wandered around public places with it before, and of course no one noticed, commented, or even gave me weird looks. It's a nice shirt, I'm kind of surprised.

Oh well. At least mom likes it, even if she doesn't know what it's from.

I saw two people in Dave shirts, and I commented each time, and maybe they didn't know where it was from or it was a gift or something, cause they were just like 'Yeah. Shirt.'

Oh man I didn't know this thread was here! This has happened to me a bunch of times.

In May when I was down in Florida I saw someone wearing a Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff shirt at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park in Orlando. I tried to shout "Sweet Shirt, Bro!" but he didn't hear me. Embarassing!

Up here in Philly, I've seen someone who I swear was wearing a Tavros shirt (but by the time I realized it I had already passed him by, didn't see him again) and, of course, there was a DOUBLE REACHAROUND sighting when a cool dude wearing a long sleeve Dave shirt (in a car, at a stoplight) saw me wearing my Tavros shirt and called out "Tavros!" to me! IT WAS LIKE... A MIRACLE.

So basically what I am saying is this needs to happen more often!

I've never seen anyone wearing any MSPA gear outside of a convention. I've wondered, if I did, if I would bother to stop them and try to explain that the creator of Homestuck is my brother. But then I think that that would probably seem kind of desperate and awkward, so the better thing to do would be to just allow it to continue to be a not that interesting mystery.
