Saw a girl getting on the shuttle bus at Queensland University of Technology as I got off. She was wearing a Hero of Blood shirt. By the time it registered, she had already jumped on the bus. Didn't even get to compliment her taste in webcomics.
Well i was walking around new york comin back from a convention with some friends lookin for a place to eat me dressed as pyramid head and my friends dressed as a silent hill nurse and sora and we saw a group of about 13 people i cant remember exactly but they were all dressed as different trolls!! So we talked and then like 20 people passed by wearing different homestuck shirts.... It was really wierd but awesome
Also a girl is sitting right next to me who stole my sollux glasses off my face and is now quoting him... Its freakin amazing!!!
Sigh... I only know one Homestuck reader, and he isn't nearly as into it as I am.
Well, that's not counting my one friend who has read the first 30 pages and insists that it is stupid.
Saw a big group dressed as trolls, Cal, some of the humans, and assorted cast at Downtown Disney. They rocked it. Coarse, I looked like a dork telling them they looked great. Eh, oh well.
On Tuesday, I saw a girl wearing the scratched record Dave shirt walking into my Japanese class. Before I could register the thought that "Hey, that girl is wearing a Homestuck shirt", I remembered that I had seen her earlier.
So i'm gonna wear my new Dirk shirt tomorrow to see if she will notice.
Man, I look like a dork. :P
I live in Charny, Québec and this is my story.
Today I saw a girl wearing a red shirt entering where I work (gaz station "couche-tard"). Didnt really noticed her except for that fancy blonde haircut and that scarf around her neck. Didnt talk to her because I had customers at my post and she went to my coworker's post to buy her stuff.
Once she got outside she stayed a bit, maybe for setting her headphones or something. My last customer went outside and as I waved him goodbye, I saw said girl from front view, wearing a dave's record shirt.
I was stunned, not only because I finally saw another homestuck fan (besides my friends) but also because I didnt got the chance to even talk to that person. Every single muscle and cells of my being screamed at me to gtfo and at least compliment that girl's good taste in webcomic. But right as I started to move toward the door, an Annoying Old Woman.inc with her 10'000 lottery tickets appeared, asking me to verify them.
As the girl walked away I got the invasive feeling that I wont be seeing any other HS fan for a long while. :c
This is the best idea. This actually sounds like an excellent way to start up conversation with her. Dude, you could totally get a girlfriend out of this assuming both of you are single. I assume you are a cool kid for rocking a Dirkshirt so playing your cards right shouldn't be a huge issue. Good luck!
Yesterday I discovered that one of the bathrooms in the English building is covered with Homestuck-themed graffiti.
Best college ever
Oh, hey, Stij. Fellow OSU student! /fist bunp
Saw two classy fellows in Time and Rage hoodies running to class yesterday. They looked busy, and I was far away, so I just let them be.
Chumhandle: gramNegative
So I'm all up and getting my magic on at Disney World where I spot my first ever homestuck shirt. Man, it was so groovy.. Unfortunately I had just stuffed my face with a churro so I couldn't say anything. Hopefully she took my slight flailing of the arm as a sign.
Then a few days after I was in MGM (hollywood studios) and I was about to leave when all of a sudden a wild homestuck appeared! I was wearing my John shirt at the time, so I heard her say something along the lines of, "John Egbert??" We had ourselves a grand little time. Luckily I got to exchange tumblr stuff (which is something I've never done off of the internet).
And then last night in Epcot I was wearing my John shirt again (I washed it!), and inside the Japanese shop in the Japan pavilion, some random girl stopped and faced me, gave me a thumbs up and said "homestuck!" to which I replied with a thumbs up of my own and said "groovy!"
So yeah, groovy~
I was at a Steampunk Convention (yes, I know- random) and I was wearing my hero of breath shirt while walking around. A girl said really fast "Homestuck Shirt!" I was all like "YESSS!"
Later we saw a girl with a Jade shirt on and we went "Nice Shirt!"
All the fandoms colliding, fantastic.
A few weeks ago, while still in the middle of reading HS, a girl in my class was wearing a green slime ghost shirt. But I've never brought it up with her, as we never talk, and she's kinda... weird in any case :/
At first I read "local city-wide garage sale", then I saw your location. Haha, maybe I'll write all about you one of these days and not realize it. Though I don't have any shirts as of yet, so... don't get excited? :I
At my college, there's over 20,000 students (community college so it's tiny) and NOT ONCE have I seen a homestucker. I considered dressing up like Kakat since he's my patron troll but I has no munnies. Not even like $15 to get cheap supplies lol
I would DIE if I saw an Aradia cosplayer on the Day of the Dead. I'd run up to her and ask for a photo. If I also see any homestuckers at Halloween, I will fangirl so hard hahahaha
I saw a girl in a Dave shirt on a boat in DC :33
I would totes talk to her.
Dude wait. That's three of us in Washington. In fact I even used the same exact location description as Mustavus, coincidentally. I hardly ever pay attention to those and I probably should. At first I read "local city-wide garage sale", then I saw your location. Also city wide gaurage sales are cool. I've never seen a literal city wide one, but I've been to a couple area wide ones. Then again I used to live in a city of 300,000+
Now I'm here by Silverdale in Kitsap. Still way better than Connecticut.

Was at Islands of Adventure in Orlando for the weekend and spotted a group of three. We were passing by so I just pointed and said "homestuck!" as I passed.
Well I've talked to her before in class discussions, but... I dunno, she's just not the type of person I'd make friends with. Not sure how else to describe this :/
AFAIK, I have two irl friends who are non-closet HS fans, but I don't think I've seen either of them on these forums. One of them went to a meet in Seattle, so there's gotta be more than us three, WE'RE NOT ALONE. The city-wide garage sale I had in mind was the one on Capitol Hill, Seattle. Actually it's the only one I know of, so I was like "WAAAAIT a second...".Dude wait. That's three of us in Washington. But yeah, Silverdale. I haven't been across Puget Sound in a long time, maybe I should convince my out of state friends that riding the ferry is a totally cool idea.
