I would be cool with a general Northerners meet-up, but not with cos-play, no way.

We'd be mobbed by chavs. They're attracted by bright colours. We'd need a few keys to jangle at them.

Don't know if it's been brought up in this thread, but is anyone thinking of cosplaying at the Film and Comic Con in July (London)? It would be good to know if people are to vaguely organise ops around, I suppose.

Those near Manchester - You do realize there's a MCM expo in Manchester this year, right? COSPLAYCOSPLAYCOSPLAY. :B (Personally I won't be able to go 'cause of work and shiz and still disappoint at the lack of fans in the South-East.)

yeah I did know from when they first announced it. Its pretty stupid though to have an MCM expo way out of term time in such a massive student city. I will be long gone from manchester by then and so will most of the student population .
