MCM Expo is in London at the end of every October and May. It may be the biggest con in the UK in terms of attendance, judging by what my friends (who are more into that scene) say about it.
I was at it today. A huge crowd of trolls. Then they played Truth or Dare. I didn't talk to many people. :P
Also one amazing person had a Dog Tier Jade cosplay. Fantastic.

Just to squeeze a reply in here, I'm from Halifax in West Yorkshire (just on the border with Bradford). I'll be going to the Leeds Thoughtbubble convention on the 19th of November as either Boxcars or Fem!Boxcars (depending on how certain aspects work out) with a group of friends cosplaying trolls. Anyone else going? :O

For all of those who went to MCM, I was one of the Rose's on Saturday, but on Sunday I was doing a Hetalia cosplay. Just wanted to let everyone know that I lost my purse at MCM expo yesterday, if anyone who was there saw it, can you please let me know asap?

It’s plain black leather (fake), about 5 inches wide and pretty thick. It has everything in it more or less. My two bank cards (both cancelled), my provisional drivers license, my laundry card and bursary card (both of which can only be used at my university and are basically useless to anyone other than me) my NI number card, my blood donar card, my organ donar card, my railcard, all my points cards (Subway and Boots mostly really), £30 cash and around £150 worth of checks (all of which are under my name and I’m getting cancelled anyway.)

Everything apart from the cash is under my name and basically useless to anyone else. I have given my details to ExCel security, so if you find it and it’s easier for you to get to the ExCel centre, you can just hand it in there and say that security have my contact details. If not, please message me.

It fell out of my bag at the outside benches near the statue (there was a hetalia meet there) on Sunday. I’ve been told that someone picked it up and put it on a bench, and then someone else picked it up and took it inside. If anyone knows anything at all; if they accidentally picked it up, if a friend picked it up, or if they saw someone with it, please, please let me know. Even if it confirms it was stolen, it’s better than not knowing at all!

I'm from Sheffield

I'm in London (south-east, in the suburbs, not the fun part). Moving to Sheffield for university in September! Massively excited. I haven't met anyone into Homestuck in real life yet though, but I have got someone into it, so that's something.
