To all:
I am mortified to have to acknowledge that in my first post to Glee I misattributed the quote “If you can’t stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen” to President Andrew Jackson. In actuality, it was President Harry Truman who came up with this metaphorical gem. I have now edited the post to reflect such.
On the off chance there are any Catholics here old enough to remember the Tridentine Mass: “mea culpa, mea culpa, mea máxima culpa.” Such carelessness is inexcusable, especially in one who purports to be a writer (albeit not all that successful a one).
I should have known. It sounds so much like the ever redoubtable President Truman.
