Frig I really hate the ads on the site.
It makes reading the comic in public or showing it to friends down right embarrassing.
It's all like, "Hey, look at this awesome comic!" and they're all like "Jeez, there's some weird ads on here..." instead.

Oh that is advertising for Toothpaste Drew's shirts. I wasn't aware that he was advertising outside of his own sites. Drew and Natalie run three webcomics currently: Toothpaste for Dinner, Natalie Dee, and Married to the Sea. Their store is just for their comics, I wouldn't really consider it a competitor to Topatoco that much. Lately they have been running an advertising campaign based on purposely bad advertising. I read all three webcomics regularly they are funny I guess.
In fact it may have been me that brought mspa to Drew's attention. I asked him what he thought about it on his formspring.

Everyone I know who reads Homestuck uses adblock and throws their paychecks/allowances at Hussie through shirt orders, donations, and music downloads. I would, but I have no money and I like the ads too much. :3 It's like "OH NO JOHN DIES" scroll scroll, "You are a whale. Is this awesome? y/n" "OH lovely ads, how you distract me from my despair!"

I finally clicked on one of the "porn" ads out of curiosity. The comic I was led to wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
