Also, my two friends (i was god tier vriska BTW, the blonde john and the other chick who went to the zoo are my two friends in mention) probably wouldn't be able to come either. And also, another friend that I was going to con into coming. So I would really really prefer we wouldn't have it that weekend.

Hmmm, factoring in a few others I've talked to, that would make about 5 or 6 people missing. Which is crappy. Would moving the date to Sunday the 11th be any help? Or shall we consider making it the following Saturday the 17th?

Interrupting talk of Autumn meet ups to ask who plans on going to Tekkoshocon next year? It's at that awful hotel again, and I can't even say for sure that I'm going.

We are currently throwing around ideas for Autumn/Winter meet ups (Halloween party, ice skating, etc) and will hopefully have something up about that soon. Tekkoshocon is indeed at the Wyndham Grand again, although they are assuring that there will be an actual staircase this year. I can understand if people are not feeling like going, but I know a number of us ARE planning on going.

On another note, a number of us are also planning on going to Ohayocon at the end of January.

If anyone has any ideas for future meetups, or is planning on going to one of these cons (or others), feel free to mention it here.

I'm thinking the weekend after. I'm still on the fence because a lot of the regular comers are busy. Though that being a 3day weekend could work to our advantage. If not, There's going to be a low-stress level meetup at Schenley park Ice-Rink sometime in November. I'll try and hold a meeting with the folks who help me plan tomorrow, if they aren't busy.

So the thread's been pretty dead lately, school and college and stuff will do that. Here's a massive deluge of plans in the making!

We are looking into going iceskating sometime in late December/early January at either Schenely rink or PPG place downtown. It's finals time over here so it's gonna be a week or two till I have time to solidify info, but here are the websites for both rinks if you want to throw your two cents into the thread.

In January a number of us are adventuring out to Ohayocon in Columbus, Ohio. I'm afraid that the existing group doesn't have any room left in cars/hotel rooms, but if you happen to be going as well, let us know!

And of course Tekkoshocon will be creeping up on us all soon. YES it is at THE SAME HOTEL. However, THERE WILL BE A STAIRCASE this year. Anyway, that's still a ways away and there's time to plan meet ups, photo-shoots, etc. May posted in the forum about the Can Town Project (http://cantownproject.tumblr.com/), which is a charity canned goods donation that people are trying to make a thing. Please look into it! Also, we'll do some research into places to have dinner this year so we can avoid another Wendy's fiasco. Basically we are going to attempt to plan Tekko's meet-up a lot better this year!

Lastly, and this idea was just conceived by King like an hour ago, he is thinking about some sort of camping trip for late spring/early summer. That needs a lot more looking at (dates, location, weather, prices, activities, etc), but it's an idea in progress. I also understand that, well, camping with a bunch of people from the internet is kind of shady as fuck! Dunno if this is going to be doable for a lot of the minors/younger folk in the group. God forbid something happen and legal shit go down. But it'll be months till this plan gets off the ground, so just think about it for now.

And that's about all! Smaller things may go down in between, but these are the big dates in the future. Getting this shit back in business!
