Wow these are great song rewrites. o_o I don't know if I can match up. XD

Today is the first time I have ever seen the actual music video of Poker Face. I only know this song in the first place because of Cartman singing some of it once on South Park. :P

I'm having trouble with some of the verses (they're in italics), but if anybody wants to take a crack at completing it, go for it. Otherwise I'll be pondering on what to substitute them with.

So, me and Zosephine were derpin' around and singing and this is one of the things that happened. (Other things coming later, this didn't require any editing so we can just post it as-is)

So, here we have Jade and Fef singing Eridan's theme in DUET. And making fun of him in the breaks. : B

PS it's a little awkward in the middle...

I mean a lot awkward.

We didn't really practice.

I'm not entirely sure these lines fit your theme, so don't feel bad about saying so if they don't work.

....Wow...this is such an awesome thread...why did I not start following this sooner???(the world may never know...although the world was not really wondering)...I was recently listening to the song Great Asteroid by The Spades, and it instantly made me think of the Trolls situation...I was planning on making a troll related parody of it, but I cannot find the lyrics for it anywhere...does anyone know where a good place to get lyrics online is...also does anyone even know of the song I am talking about for that matter???...sorry if I am rambling but I am being inspired by all of the awesome so far in this thread....

@Neofafnir: I've been looking for those lyrics, but so far I haven't had any luck.

Since it sounds like you have the song, one thing you can do is to listen to it while typing out the lyrics into a Word document. If you can't understand a lyric, it won't really matter, since you will be changing the words anyway; so as long as you know the syllables and the stresses, you should be fine. I hope that works!

My theme was basically "Vriska: Be conflicted, want a blackrom". This gives a bit more clarity on what she's wanting out of Tavros, as well as explaining her actions. Thank you very much. ^^

I'm about to go back and edit my last post with credit to your lyrics. Leaving the original WIP version just in case somebody else wants to give it a try.

Edit: Herpaderp, I think I made a grammatical error. It should have been "One day you could be marvelous" instead of "One day you can be marvelous." Is there anything I do that's not falling down the English language?

While I have to admit that the prospect of having "Kismesis" sang by someone is great, I really just rewrote the lyrics 'cause, well, come on! The song talks about Spades, luck, and playing with someone's heart. Sounds like Vriska to me. Plus I was wanting to do a rewrite of it before even finding this thread. :3

And yes, she is Lady Gaga. It is her. XD

EDIT: Don't worry about it CT. ^^ I got a bit too enthusiastic and missed it too. XD Edited the lyrics accordingly.

I'm suddenly amused by the idea of Aradia and Feferi singing a version of "In His Eyes" from "Jekyll and Hide." Because Sollux has had weird eyes, you see.

Edit: Oh my god, I just had a horrible, horrible idea (unrelated to the above) and I'm going to act on it.

It is finished, and it is atrocious. Original song is here. In place of whistling, imagine chainsaws revving in the appropriate pitches. Glowy!Kanaya presents:

I tried several times to do the Still Alive thing and may do it today if I get the chance. Once I learn the tune of Teenage Dream, maybe I'll try her part of Diamond Dream too.
