I am amazed at the number of Homestuck fans I saw today. Someone even dressed up as Gamzee! One of the ushers was Aradia. There was also someone dressed as Dave in a snazzy black suit! We really should have a Brisbane Homestuck meet-up sometime.

I can only assume Anonymoose and SharkJumper are also known by the names Dave and Camilla. In which case I met them in a pretty curious episode on Saturday.

I was working at K-Mart on the door when two people came in dressed as Karkat and Terezi and I went up to them on my tea break. I was like, "so, are you guys supposed to be Karkat and Terezi?" and they were like, "yeah, we were just on our way to Supernova". Completely forgot it was this weekend.

I say, "do you know who I am?"
"...the K-Mart Guy?"
"Nope, I'm AbortedSlunk from the Art Team."
"...oh! Erm... sorry, we haven't heard of it."
"Well, I contribute to the comic. You remember that walkaround pixelart game update with the trolls? I was the lead pixel artist on that!"

So yeah, hello to Dave and Camilla, hope you guys had fun and I wish I coulda been there and not working at K-Mart. But when needs must! It certainly was weird seeing two Homestuck trolls walk in right the fuck out of nowhere in a city where virtually no one knows what Homestuck is.

also anonymoose, the gold coast supanova isn't until next april. the one you're thinking of in november is in brisbane again.

then next year they go melbourne and gold coast in april, sydney and perth in june, and then later, brisbane and then adelaide in november.

i know im looking forward to the gold coast one because i live there too omg
