EveryCharacterTracker Last Seen Chart (E.C.T.)

I was inspired by SomeGuyNamedDavid, who made a TrollTracker to make a Kidtracker myself.

Its goal was to help you guys remember when we last saw a Kid. Both in which panel and what they were doing.

Since 11/11/11, we've been seeing the Guardian Kids from the Scratched Universe, which became included in the tracking too.

Around a month after that, 'everythingTrackers' started to show up. Since then, the topic had become a tracker for all characters that originate from one of the 2 human universes.

And last but not least, since 18 March the thread began tracking every character from all universes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Am I allowed to make an update to the tracker myself?

A: Sure, you may do that if I haven't updated yet.

Q: Why haven't you updated yet?! There has already been an update with [insert name of Kid] since that panel!

A: Sorry, I'll try to update as soon as possible. Don't worry. Or you may do that yourself too, if you wish. It's also possible that I didn't take the very last panel showing them because it isn't a clear shot of the person.

Q: Why are the first charts so ugly/What editing program are you using?

A: I used MS Paint at first, but people complained about the quality, so now I'm using Paint.net to resize stuff. For the rest I'm still using MS Paint. But, it's possible other programs are used if other people have made the update.

Q: How do you determine when you update a certain character's image and when not?

A: As was previously mentioned, I update it when a character is clearly shown. I also only do it if the character is doing a real action, and not if he is just sleeping while we have a picture of the person doing something else that is roughly taking place at the same time (for example, I didn't use a picture of Dream Jane sleeping while Jack and WQ were around doing stuff). If we see a fast-forward of a character, I shall do a split-screen showing both that moment and a present moment IF after that particular image we first see another character, because TECHNICALLY the next time we see the character could be when that flash-forward picture is or has already happened. But the next time we see the character, I do away with the split-screen.

Honestly this should probably have gone in the Trolltracker thread.

I'm fairly sure the Rose in that panel hasn't happened yet relative to John and Jade. And who knows what counts as the "current" Dave.

You got me there on Rose, but I'll keep it on that until we have a Rose update again. And as for Dave, we mostly see Casual Dave of all the Daves, that's why I picked him as the current one.

e: An ExileTracker would be nice too, but 5 would be hard to make work in a square...

Just use the SBurb Logo square for the Exiles.

Do the exiles really need to be tracked? I mean, it's not like they're moving around much. They're all just hanging out at he frog temple preparing to blow up the stations.

But, that's years in the future but not many. I was thinking their current selves. (Relative to the kids.)

Here's my contribution:

Secret Wizard is with Rose.
Crumplehat is at the Base of the Tower near the Gate, though it's hard to confirm this since the Crumpled Hat is now a fashion fad instigated by the eponymous salamander [IDE] to help pay for John's Fraymotifs [/IDE].
Mushroom Farmer is still farmin' those goddamn mushrooms. And it's still a Fuckin' Pain in the Ass.

Well, it does seem like something that could be done, I personally would rather they be kept separate. Mods may disagree though, and it's really their call in the end.

Yeah, I think combining the threads would be a good idea too, but then the trackers would be spread around the topic as this topic wasn't made right after when the previous one was made. And I don't want to put SomeGuyNamedDavid up with the task to put both trackers in his post and update his post when I update the KidTracker.

To be fair, none of the other groups (Exiles, Guardians, MC) have members running around all over the place all the time.
Some of them have become static images too, since their members have expired or somesuch.
I mean, WK's image would be the flower bud transporter, Bro's would be... yeah, and the MC's would be entirely convoluted, since the last time we saw DD, for example, wasn't the last time, chronologically (he's out shopping next week

).

But anyway, good job Blaperile! This provides a nice reference.

So, shrink it SOME. I say make it the same size as the TrollTracker. The tiny image looks HORRIBLE.

It looks like you're using Nearest Neighbor resizing, which preserves pixellation and is almost never good for shrinking. I don't know what program you're using, but try and see if there's an option to use a different method (look for Best Quality, Bicubic, or Super Sampling).

And if you only have Paint, may I recommend Paint.NET?

Or maybe a crop/resize combination, though that isn't always possible.
