And just because it doesn't feel right to sandwich two posts in a row without adding some more content, have my headcanon's timeline for Alternia City's world. For convenience, the Disaster (from Wigmund's headcanon) happened in the year 2000AD on the 13th of April.

- 1025BC Kingdom of Skaia splits into two separate realms following the assassination of the Worldly Visionary. The two new realms are called, predictably, Prospit and Derse.
- 1024BC The island city Castos is named as the capital of Derse, and the desert city Polist is the capital of Prospit.
- 1000BC to 996BC First Skaian War. Ends in stalemate, with neither kingdom gaining much leverage over the other.
- 612BC The First Condesce unites the warring factions of the trolls, bringing them together as the Alternian Empire. Not much else happens.
- 413BC The Second Skaian War, this one only lasting a month thanks to the complacency of Prospit. White King and Queen taken hostage but not killed, Castle Prospit and Polist both razed to the ground. The forces of Derse begin the long (10 months and 25 days) journey home.
- 412BC The Alternian Army, in the absence of most of Derse's military, are able to step into Castos and capture the Black Queen. The island is renamed Alternia City, and the Black King is given an interesting 'welcome'.
- 314BC Due to the easily defensible position of Alternia City, the current Condesce (the fourth since the creation of the Alternian Empire) moves the capital of Alternia from Bloodopolis to Alternia City.
- The Year 0 The Signless is born in one of the Mother Grub Pits in Alternia City, and thrown into a pile of hoofbeastshit by Imperial Drones tending to the Grub for being a "STUPID RED ASSHOLE". He is promptly found by the Dolorosa (who usually lives in the desert and was in Alternia for a reunion between friends) and she brings him home.
- 14AD The Signless is arrested for "looking incessantly angry, all the time" by a STRONG Security Upholder, and is taken to a jail in the borderlands of Alternia. He takes the identity of the Redblood.
- 16AD In a raid controlled by the mysterious Summoner, the Redblood is freed and pledges loyalty to his benefactor. The two head into human lands to gather allies for the rebellion that the Summoner has planned.
- 24AD In the first concerted attack against Alternia that the empire has seen in centuries, the Summoner and the Redblood are able to capture a significant portion of the Alternian mainland, using the force of wild animals and humans combined. The Robberer is found hiding in a Four-Wheeled-Carrying-Device and she, too, pledges loyalty to the rebellion (mainly out of fear to begin with)
- 31AD Now the very mention of the Redblood's name is enough to send shivers down the High Court Of Alternia's collective back, and also is enough to warrant a public execution with lions. Lots of lions. Alternia has retreated to their capital, and they are trapped with no psychics to aid them (most of them immediately defected when they heard that the Summoner and the Redblood were campaigning for rustblood superiority). The unexplainable disappearance of the empire's sopor supply has also lead to more than one murderous rampage in the streets of Alternia City, and more and more subjugglators are leaving in favor of the sopor-plenty rebels.
- 34AD Alternia City is finally taken, and the Arrogant Condesce evicted (read: killed quietly in one of the palace rooms so that none of the humans protest). General jubilation across the city, etc etc. A new system is put into place, one that has a Mayor elected by the populace serve as the main decision-maker of the city, and the old Mother Grub Pits are filled with burning oil because nobody actually wants to see an Imperial Drone unless it's Pail Night. And usually not even then.
- 125AD The Age Of Belligerence begins. A time of cruelty and knowledge-burning, this was instigated by the cruel Mayor Knightbishop. The faith of the populace in the Mayoral system is shaken.
- 134AD The sudden death of Mayor Knightbishop occurs, and many blame assassins. Or, more accurately, wish to shower the assassins with gifts. However, The AoB continues regardless of this, thanks to the corrupt APD keeping the rules in place while simultaneously preventing a new mayor from being elected.
- 1913AD The birth of the Watchful Vigilante, the Post Mistress and the Adhering Rebel.
- 1939AD WV, PM and AR begin trying to change the state of affairs, with WV hunting criminals down before the APD can reach them, AR rising through the ranks of law to become the High Judge, and PM slowly worming her way into controlling all of the communications systems. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em and change things that way.
- 1945AD The work of the three amounts to nothing because two gangs suddenly appear and decide to 'deal' with the APD. Every single officer of high standing is found dead in their homes, either with playing cards embedded in their throats, or with other evidence that's just plain out bizarre. It later appears that both the Felt and the Midnight Crew were somehow able to get their hands on time-travel technology, and decided to travel back in time to make the present a better place (for them). Long story short, it didn't work because all of the times it DID work it became a doomed timeline, and so they just decided to move out of Alternia and do other things. In the past. MEANWHILE, WV AR and PM took advantage of the mysterious deaths and managed to get an election started. As the only enterprising politicians since, well, for ever, they got all of the votes and became the leaders of Alternia.
- 1964AD Midnight Crew (the present version this time), the Felt (who even knows with those guys) and the Mobster Kingpins make their appearance in Alternia City, fighting turf wars and doing other illegal things. The new APD is able to partially beat them back, which is better than totally at the price of freedom.
- 2000AD Disaster.
- 2012AD (huh) Mindfang Pirates and Mr. Pupa show up.
- The Rest (space currently empty- see: I have NO idea!)

"Robberer" is entirely intentional on my part.

Um, I remember something about bizarro trolls, and parallel universes, and can I just borrow those ideas for later? Because I've had the idea of Maggie falling into some alternate universe where the heroes and villians are swapped to varying degrees (ie: ranging from almost omnicidal Egbertman to Karkat, Gamzee and Nepeta being almost exactly the same).

Quarters is the Felt's armorer, responsible for the maintenance and storage of his gang's sizable weapons cache. He also runs a pawnshop called THE FIVE-AND-TWENTY as a front business. Naturally, its primary stock consist of guns and coins.

He keeps his namesake set of summoning quarters on his person at all times, save for the quarter he leaves with Clover for obvious luck reasons.

Quarters possesses a prodigious knowledge of firearms and their mechanics (second to if not matched by Jade and/or Jake), counterbalanced by having practically none of the luck when it comes to actually shooting. This is why he wields the minigun; its insanely rapid firing rate effectively counters his bad luck, which he theorizes has been mostly absorbed/transferred by Clover.

Hi! I'm new here, and I just read through this entire thread in two days. Just saying, this is the most amazing thing I've seen like ever, and yeah. I created an account for this. ;u; I love it here, never stop guys.

I just want to insert a few things here, though, because the ancestors are my favorite, and I hate to see them shoved back to something as vague as the founding fathers or something. They weren't all one huge cohesive group you know, and they were their own people. I don't know how to connect the trolls with their ancestors, but it's quite possible that they really don't have any relations with each other.

The Sufferer would be the preacher of the Church of Suffrage, which is sort of a political/religious mishmosh he founded in order to raise awareness of the political imbalances in the city. He preaches love and kindness as well as occasional civil disobedience, like hanging large political banners on the police station, denouncing police brutality (I'm looking at you, Officer Zahhak). He'd be grumpy, but mostly harmless. He's gotten some attention, and a few idealistic followers, such as his adopted mother, the Dolorosa, and the Disciple, his childhood friend, and a whole host of consorts who want what he's preaching, but have no real power in the first place. In other words, his movement's a bit of a flunk, but he's trying. He has visions of another world where the hemospectrum was more strictly adhered to, where there were culling drones, and visions of another world where peace existed. Andrew Hussie can be frequently found in the Church of Suffrage.

The Handmaid would be the Felt's top assassin, trained by Doc Scratch since they picked her up as a street kid. When she was a teenager, she ran away and met the Sufferer who made friends with her. When the Felt found her again, he was able to hold the lives of her new friends over her and so she has to stay with them. They never knew of her connections with the Felt, so even when they went looking for her, they couldn't find her. Eventually, she faded from their memories, a forgotten childhood friend. She mostly stays hidden among the other crimes in the city, but occasionally she'll mess with things and plays at being a super villain.

The Summoner is a superhero. With wings. He tends to get carried away with fighting crime, and cause a lot of damage to the city. And his superhero name would be TinkerBull. By day though, he works as as dockworker, occasionally helping ferry shipments to S.E.E.R. He's got an artifact that lets him grow wings, and still the same mind control powers as Mr. Pupa/Tavros. He is friends with the Disciple, so if he gets injured in the supering, then he's got a place to stay at the Church of Suffrage. He thinks it's a cool idea, but doesn't think preaching and civil disobedience is going to get anything done.

Psiionic is a pilot in the military. He flies a small fighter jet and occasionally works as a freelance hacker. He's childhood friends with the Sufferer, but they haven't talked in ages. He thinks the Church of Suffrage is too idealistic, and that there will always be injustice in the world, but he also feels like it would be nice to try. He can't actually tell this to the Sufferer though, because he's too proud. So he works as an anti-hero called the Black Hornet. He doesn't go and hero much though, on account of living in the military barracks of Fort Skaia. Instead he sits at home and types away at his computer and occasionally gets drunk with Darkleer.

The Disciple is the Sufferer's childhood friend. She was on the streets when they met, and the Sufferer and the Dolorosa wanted to help her, but she only took food from them. When she was a teenager though, she began to accept more help from them, and they even got her a semblance of an education. She was an accomplished pickpocket and occasional burglar, and even though she's running a pet store now and writing down the Sufferer's visions, in her spare time, she's the phantom thief, Huntress. She mostly likes stealing important military things, and so Darkleer heads the investigation that hunts her. Sufferer doesn't know what she does, and she usually gives the stuff back because she can't figure out what it does. She just enjoys the challenge.

The Dolorosa adopted the Sufferer when he was just a grub, interested by the color of his blood. She runs a nursery/daycare and occasionally volunteers at Feferi's homeless shelter. Beyond that, yeah, I got nothing.

Redglare works as a judge, one of those judges that favor harsh punishments and death sentences of the sort. She enjoys her power just a little too much, but she follows the law to the letter. Woe betide the one who tries to corrupt this judge, because she'll arrest them herself. She is not blind, but can smell and taste colors, but to a smaller extent than Terezi. The glasses she wears are an artifact that allows her to smell out lies- they're single use only though, so only she can use them.

Mindfang is tickled pink that Vriska named a crew of pirates after her legendary exploits as a super villain. It probably wasn't the best idea not to use a secret identity though. She ran into some trouble, faked her death, one that involved ripping off her left arm, and disappeared underground, never to resurface as a villain again, though she does offer her criminal consultations- for a price. She now works as a corrupt lawyer under an alias. Redglare suspects crookedness in her trials, but can't prove anything- information from artifacts aren't considered evidence in court, especially single use artifacts

Darkleer is the military police, and occasional mechanic. He believes in his due duty to the government and the military, but the Huntress has a strange way of testing his patience. She leaves cutsy pale notes when she returns the things she steals. He thinks it's inexcusable, and he doesn't even know if she does it on purpose (she doesn't), or who she is. He thinks it's horribly debasing, but strangely pleasant. He needs a towel now. He does get drunk with the Psiionic occasionally, but only because he's the only one who can hold his alcohol compared to him.

The GrandHighblood is the head of an underground drug ring. They mostly stay out of the big things and don't mess with artifacts, so the police don't know they exist. It helps that their based in the sewers, and any disappearances down there are put down to the strange things roaming, or the "gas pockets." He has a wall painted with the blood of intruders.

Dualscar is another anti-hero, one who didn't care at all for the lives of civilians, and one specifically targeting Mindfang before she disappeared. Now he's an ornery bureaucrat in charge of the military that enjoys ordering Nightwatch hunts, even though they never listen to him. He blames this lack of respect on the existence of non-trolls and longs to wipe them out, but alas, Mindfang had taken Ahab's crosshairs with her when she "died," and he regrets that he chose blackrom flirtations over being a super villain and wiping them out.

The Condesce longs for the days of yore, when the hemospectrum was strictly enforced, and there were not humans or carapaces or consorts dirtying the landscape of the city. She's in the process of trying to take over the world with her corporation, Betty Crocker, sending subliminal messages through her products in an attempt to change the world back the way it used to be.

But I'm not exactly sure what I have is good(I worry about things like that, especially if cause I don't think it can compare to what alot of people have posted. It was mind blowing :P)

Alternia City was a dark town of corruption and hatred that flowed through everything and everyone, only one group of people stood between utter chaos and keeping the town to a somewhat civilized existence. Alternia Police Department, the troll cops. Although there forces are small, those few are the best; there is simply no contest. Officer Terezi Pyrope the senior officer and most dangerous, even though she is blind no criminal has ever gotten away from her, course sometimes they don’t make it to the station and others they come to the station somewhat wet faced due to extensive “visuals” as she says. These visuals are yet to be documented for what they really are because that would most likely involve more paperwork, and less paperwork means a Chief and more money, that and we honestly don’t want to know what she did to them. It seems gross.

Officer Pyrope’s partner is Sollux Captor, this is her preference as well as the department’s choice, he seems to keep her in check with something he writes down as “Wee”s and “Woo”s but let’s be honest this has to be some kind of Psionic code for something cool and mysterious. He uses his eyes as red and blue lights to tell suspects to pull over or to stop running but it hardly every works out like that, Terezi just makes him do it cause she likes the smell and flavor of those two colors. Officer Captor uses his Psionic abilities to interrogate suspects as well as defensive purposes in the field, the only down side to this officer is his sudden changes from good cop to bad cop. That is also another aspect of which we enjoy from this member of the force; he saves us money on other officers by pretty much being two at the same time.

These two officers are in pursuit of a criminal so dangerous he was able to get the crime factions of Alternia City to team up; we have recently lost two officers due to an attack on the COD Piece Bank of Alternia. Officerbot Aradia and Officerbot Aradia, this was a devastating loss to the other six Officerbots who quoted on the matter “It happens”, a heartwarming remark to everyone on the force. Getting back to the criminal though, he has been elusive to every officer before Pyrope and Captor, they are following a lead they received from an eye witness leading them to suspect one of the deadliest criminals of all Alternia, Pupa.

That was pretty cool Chris...I dun know I've just been so hesitant about posting anything here cause it's so...inactive, then there's the possibility that the whole deal goes private, and that this will no longer even be updated (the impression I get from the DA group)...I just don't know what's going on with this thing...so I'll just observe...I guess, if you decide to contribute more later.

I'm going to end up posting on this thread alot... It was the first one I found and actually connected with the art so I'm going to keep posting my story as I improve it and continue it. They keep this going on Skype apparently but I don't like that program.
Maybe if we post enough on here more people will come by and comment or it could just be me making a fool of myself.
