Elsewhere is a text-based adventure inspired by Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman and House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski.
It is an adventure where you are hunting down a rogue Archivist, Claire Mayhew, who has been accused of high treason by the Superegos. Elsewhere is a land of passageways, corridors, libraries, and memories made real. Battle vicious Starklings and Rebels of Id as you work to complete your mission and bring Claire Mayhew to justice.

Elsewhere (a text based adventure inspired by Neverwhere and House of Leaves)
Sburb. A game, or so it is called, to be played by a minimum of two. In it, many challenges await, and the players would do their best to try and win the game.
However, will they win the game?
Once unleashed, you can never return back to your previous life. Nothing can do it, and you sure as hell can’t do anything. All you could do is keep on trying, until you meet a dead end. This is the story of children, who knew nothing then, would face through so many things “now”.
After all, nobody said it was merely a game of fun.
Lockstuck: An adventure mixed with wisdom, cynicism, overall snarkiness and questions to the heart.
Lockstuck.
A story of a group of children playing Sburb, only to find so many things that they had not expected to expect. An adventure mixed with wisdom, cynicism, overall snarkiness and questions to the heart. Updates quickly. Status: Plot is advancing??

Sprawl: Rise of an Empire is an adventure where you guide a small village throughout many challenges and issues and help it expand into first a town and then a massive city with a hegemony over much of the land.
You guys should all go read the text adventure named Elsewhere by dougable. It's like some crazy story where books take you places and bookshelf boards make you lucky.
how HIGH do you even have to be?
I'm really enjoying it, but that's the problem; I'm the only one posting commands, too. And as much as I enjoy feeling like I have my own personal adventure, I think we'd all appreciate more variety! The more the merrier is usually always sometimes maybe possibly but not really but still sometimes true.
Go read that adventure or I'll begin to insult you like SHE does.
It's really quite simple. Just click this text okay. Or don't. Your choice, really. But you know. It's a lot more fun if you do. It's better than reading yet another Homestuck Rip-off, right? Because it most totally is.

psst hey
I heard that JUGGALO JOURNEY is a pretty chill adventure. It's young so far but it's got a panel (usually animated!) with every update and updates can come up to three times a day. That means a lot of animated goodness.
As well as this, we've got (what I promise to be) an interesting plot and (what I hope) are a group of interesting characters - two of which have had introductions, name screens and all.
But don't take my word for it! Check out Juggalo Journey, so far starring SCOOBY Z and MECHA DALEK:

Me and a couple friends decided to start a fan adventure over on tumblr. It's nothing all that special, just 4 friends trying to make it through Sburb and the apocalypse and getting caught up in adventure and intrigue and trying to get their heads out of their asses. Plus it's a chance for me to draw tons and tons of cartoons. If you don't mind going on tumblr, come check it out if you like things that are rad.
context, come get some in gamophobe
Alright then, so, I came across a piece of software that allows one to rather easily generate HTML pages that contain text adventures. So I made a thread in the Cradle, posted a generic prompt, and started taking commands with the intent of creating a somewhat complex text-based adventure with reader submitted commands and this software. It will be sort of mirrored in a way in my Dropbox, which will allow you to view it in one place without the need to jump between posts, and also view it in a more straightforward manner. I'll take pretty much any command you throw at me, no matter how ridiculous.
It's right here.
I am currently in school. As such, I find that I can no longer continue forum activities. So till next summer, adios!
I might as well tell you that, from the ashes of SPERB (which I've have put on a potentially perement hitus) comes The Legend of Zelda: The Lost Ages. It's a story which will have more Weird Time Shit than your avarage Forum Adventure, with four interlinking Ages, each with their own story, all tied up in one whole massive plot. And you can thank Dark Link and Ganondorf, as they were, once again, the ones who set things off in the first place.

A fan adventure consisting of new trolls, creatures and mysteries to discover! Tons of different rules are set in to play, there are flash animations and lots of giggles to be had! Hope to see you on the other side!

Thought I'd just drop this here, my last fan adventure failed because I had no idea how to moderate what I was doing and got caught up in the LOLZRANDUM of it all. That will not happen this time.
Check out ROAD, a fanadventure about surviving the worst of the storm.

Throughout history, the hero is suave, handsome, competent. People who actually know what they're doing, and when to do it. People with friends who know if they're stable or not. Friends in general.
Wellllll...Not this time.
