These are pretty good. My favorite is definitely #3, it sounds the most like I picture Dave's voice sounding. Actually, #7 would make a really good John!

I'm trying to edit the fic to be readable as a voice script. I'll let people know when I'm satisfied with what I've got and we can record. Although Dave's lines don't need any editing, so you could go ahead and try them if you wanted! I'll have to grab a link to the fic later.

I think it's really hard to sound 13 for some of us, so most of us don't even try. You'll find that a lot of the previous efforts at Dave have had relatively deep voices. It just works with his personality. Whereas a lot of people voice John as higher-pitched and derpy!

As for the fanfic, I'll dig up a link to it soon, or else maybe I'll just finish this VA script I'm doing of it. :P I sort of got interrupted by the flash. I'll let everyone know when I've got it ready to record.

Yeah, it's going to take me a little longer, since I spent a good portion of tonight typing up scripts of the dialogue in the game. Why? Because I'm obsessive and because this way it's easier to voice them, of course! :P Anyway, as for the Dave stuff, you obviously have a different interpretation than most people, which is perfectly fine. I don't think it's necessary to TRY to have a deep voice for Dave, but I can see why some people might think so. Eh, everyone has their own idea of how the characters' voices sound in their head!

So, I hope no one minds me double posting, but there are a bunch of these conversation logs that I wanted to post for those who want to voice them. So far I only have the ones WITH typing quirks, but I can post them without quirks later on, if that's easier for people. So far I've only typed up Karkat's conversations.
