I can deal with listening to myself act and sing now (I used to be so bad at it!) But hearing myself speak? No freaking way. I sound like such an idiot, it's not even fair. :C

Edit: "I sound stupid durr" is obviously the best way to start page 3.

I admittedly haven't heard it yet! I haven't had the chance to sit and listen to a lot of the new voices--it's definitely on my to-do list, which is currently long and depressing. I plan on giving things a listen, though!!

That's natural. Everyone gets this feeling. As you keep going you'll get more comfortable with it. I had a day I was recording where I was flipping out because nothing sounded right. Took me 4 hours to squeeze out about twenty minutes of lines. As it turns out I was just being paranoid, and I was doing it right the whole time. I wound up with a sore throat.

On a different note, UGH I HAVEN'T RECORDED ANYTHING AND BLUH BLUH BLUH. How do you people stay MOTIVATED(except for Fawn of course, because Fawn has all that praise n' shit)

Fawn also hears a lot of mean-spirited criticism, so it's a double-edged sword. XD But, in all seriousness, it's something I love so I'm always happy to record stuff! If you haven't done anything yet, choose your favorite pesterlog and just dive in. First and foremost it should be fun, not tedious. Be sure that you're enjoy yourself! And don't be afraid--it's all trial and error, learning and experimenting, and in general just doing something crazy and fun. As an actor, I live for that kind of thing.

I would love to record some more pesterlogs, but I don't have a lot of ideas of which pesterlog I can record. Also the characters I am trying to act like have not a lot of logs.

Look for comics in the art thread, and voice those. Remember to credit the artists.

These are pretty good. My favorite is definitely #3, it sounds the most like I picture Dave's voice sounding. Actually, #7 would make a really good John!

I'm trying to edit the fic to be readable as a voice script. I'll let people know when I'm satisfied with what I've got and we can record. Although Dave's lines don't need any editing, so you could go ahead and try them if you wanted! I'll have to grab a link to the fic later.
