PAX East 2013 - March 22nd-24th

So, even though I live in yon farthest reaches, in the land of Angmar, home of the Lich King, I'm planning on going to PAX East this spring, along with some buddies from another board.

Is anyone here going? I know it's not exactly web-comic focused, but I'm hoping maybe AD'd show up too.

Anyway, Expos are all for making new friends, and I'm new to this board, so I would love to meet any of you guys over there, have a cheesecake (you Americans and you silly cheesecakes) and discuss the fine parts of SB&HJ.

NaS is "Not a Senator" a cool dude who is responsible for the fancy, functionable state the forum is currently in. Also a Mod or something. Nice guy.

I'm interested in going but as not confirmed as well. If I did go it'd have to be a day trip which means 4 hour drive out, and 4 hour drive back.

I guess you can do it if you don't mind leaving early and getting home really late! but personally I'd try and crash somewhere overnight if I were you.

I've never been away from my wife and kids for more than day. I like to be home even if it's in the wee morning just to know they're safe. I might have to go to TechSpo this year though which will require me to stay over night in AC again. ugg.

It should be in NYC. I think anything labled East should be in NYC, even if boston is technically more east.

Hooray! We have to arrange some kind of get-together then! I learned last con that there's usually quite a bit of dead-time (which I spent looking for Boston's like... ONLY Hard Rock Café to get my dad a shirt. C'mon guys, an hour and a half walk? I thought you had them everywhere. :[ )
