Ok, since no one is going to help me with my music for free, how about i actually PAY you for helping me make my adventures better? I actually do have the money for that in these days (Tax refund) and i really need these things to truly make my work shine!

So, what, 10-20 dollars for one piece of music? Does that sound fair??

Hello music makers! I am getting back into the swing of foraventuring, and it looks like I'm going to need your help. tl;dr first: I need a piece for Almost a Hero that will back a big ol' fight.

Now the long of it: Almost a Hero's still pretty short right now so your best bet of getting a proper feel would be a simple read. If I had to describe its genre, it would be "If 60's comic books actually realized how silly they were without being annoyingly snarky about it." Which... is pretty obscure, but you get the jist, hopefully? I'd like the first act's end (which will be in three or four updates from now) to be with an [S] update. This update will be an unexpected fight between hero and villain, with a bit of epilogue to the act/battle mixed in.

I don't really have a specific sound that I'm looking for, but when I forced myself to think of some inspirations, I thought of MeGaLoVania: specifically, the way the music builds to a high point and then drops to "softer" points several times throughout... I'm probably doing a bad job of explaining this, but I like that combination of "BIG LOUD GRR" and "very little tension right here, doop be doo." So... something to keep in mind if you take this on?

And if you do wish to take on this project, I can send you a more detailed storyboard concept via PM.

I request a piece of music based on this land, the land of machines and erosion. It is going to be used for sneaky awesome stuff for DRAO! I will of course feature you in the credits and all that too.

It needs to be named Industrial Weather, for theming purposes. It would be awesome if it was a combination of weather sounds like wind blowing, thunder cracks and other such noises, combined with mechanical machinery creaking and churning. Also of course it needs to be a tune you would actually like to listen to.

The land of machines and erosion is a mechanical world built upon a smaller world that is filled with weather phenomenon. Its a world of factories and acid rain, of robots and thunderstorms, of industrial raves and tsunamis. All in all, an unsafe world in both ends of the spectrum.

But I'll decline payment.

Long time lurker, at last got around to registering; the musical talent here has had my eye for quite some time. As I'm in the process of starting work on my own fan-adventure project, I figured I might as well run up a flag and see if anyone's up for throwing a lurker a bone.

Basically, I would like a remix done of Carbon Nadsat/Cuestick Genius. Specifically, I want something that compares to CN/CG the way Black compares to Liquid Negrocity. Thanks in advance everyone, and keep up the awesome.

Hi there, musicians! I was hoping someone would be able to help me with a bit of a problem I have concerning my insatiable desire to keep making S updates for my adventure Mirrorbooth. If anyone could find the time to whip up something for me, I'd be forever in their debt.

My current idea for the next update is a talksprite animation, so all I need is a nice, simple loop to play in the background. Something that sounds a bit like the first level of a video game, where the main character wakes up on a wide, grassy field and an old man nearby exposits on the situation of the world at large. Something a bit folkish, very calm, but hints at a larger adventure just over the horizon. The best song I can think of to give as an example would be this song, but perhaps with more piano than wind instrument.

Oh, and if it could be in 3/4 time that would be amazing.

Send me a PM, reply to this post, hit me up in any way possible if you'd like to take this on! I'd gladly trade something for a tune; maybe a drawing, if you think my style is of any merit?

If any of you are fans of Be the Sea Dweller Lowblood, we are trying to make a remix fanmusic album based on it, mostly featuring remixes of other Homestuck tunes. We will also need original music, especially for the fantrolls within the storyline. If you're interested in lending your talents, or just want to offer some advice on remixing Homestuck tunes, we just started discussing it here.

We havent decided whether it'll just be a mass-downloadable free thing or an album that costs dollars to download from Bandcamp, but if it does cost dollars obviously all proceeds will go to the music creators.

And if you are a musician but have never heard of Be the Sea Dweller Lowblood... give it a read! It's 700 pages of very well-written and well-illustrated troll shenanigans, and it's worth a read.

Anyway - I want to request MUSIC! For my adventure Legend of the Hunter. It had a big flash movie not too long ago, and I wanted to ask if anyone wants to provide the music for the next one planned!

What I'm looking for is a battle track that sounds right at home with the cheesiest console RPG you can think of - and another version of that battle track that sounds much more threatening. The idea is that, in a flash movie, it would be possible to switch between those two tracks on the fly, so they'd basically run parallel to each other with one just not being audible!

Of course, there's a lot more details involved, but I don't want to spoil too much here... If any of the fine audio-crafting folks here is curious about this project and wants to help out, please let me know!

Well, so, uhh…

I’m considering making an [ s ] update in my adventure SMITTY BLACK and I guess I’m in need for some music. And since I couldn’t find any fitting music so far, I thought I might just as well make a request here.
If I were to describe the feel of my adventure in a couple of words, I guess I’d go with “Final Fantasy-ish fantasy meets MSPA” or something like that. The scene is going to be a STRIFE-styled battle with a little intro at the start.
So what I think I’m going to need are 2 audiofiles:
1. Roughly 30 seconds long sad/tragic/dramatic fanfare or guitar song with maybe some “medieval” sound to it, with an… um… “explosive” ending (kind of like what ‘At The Price of Oblivion’ does at 0:36, I think?). The instruments used don't really matter (it can be piano, churchbells, violin, etc.) as long as it has the right mood, I guess.
2. A videogame-ish (?) battle-tune loop which will start immediately after the first file ends and… well… loop.
+ Maybe a very short variation (like maybe 10 seconds or so) of the battle-loop in a somewhat more epic/uprising fashion for the “final hit”. I’m not entirely sure if it will get used or not.

I hope my explanation is clear enough...

Anyways I was just hoping for a haunting/daunting drum solo. Just a short piece with an almost "rough around the edges" feel to it. The current title in my mind is "shindig", so i was hoping for an (almost crude), fun little piece. I'm not too picky otherwise.

I would like to both offer my skills and ask a request.

I am good at making End Of Act-type songs, and marginally okay at battle themes. Although I am usually unreliable, I can finish a song in hours if I can think of something quickly.
I am also terrible at making walk-around music.

And that is where my requests come in! I need three interactivey songs (you know, like from Alterniabound?) for my adventure, Blasted.
The first is for a girl whose themes are fire and punching things.
The second is for a boy whose themes are spying and electricity.
The third is for a boy whose themes are time and viola playing. It should be noted that every other song written for this character is a remix of a Beethoven song, so you can continue that tradition. Or you could just make something original, your choice.

I know this is probably a shot in the dark type dealio, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm a gigantic fan of well, the fans here and was curious to know if I might possibly be able to acquire a them song-type dealie for my Fantroll. He's my pride and joy baby and I've put alot of work into him and want nothing but the best for him and feel I can't do justice in this particular area. He's Nokato Meiisa, found at the bottom of the page here => LINKY, but if you need more details you can always just PM me.

I should mention though that I have no means of repayment beyond perhaps an art in trade, though I'm near worthless with coloring things in PS atm. I suppose this is another detail that can be discussed via PM if required.
