    Re: MSPA Classic Theme

    EDIT: heh, fastposted by NotASenator.

I'm guessing that it's because it would be almost twice as much work to implement every change and feature in both themes. From what I can see, the "classic" theme is the one which is having all the work done on it; the "modern" theme is just a temporary placeholder theme, one that is entirely functional for when the in-progress "classic" theme isn't. Once all the planned features and fixes are implemented, then the fully-featured theme can be duplicated and changed to make sub-themes (like a darker version) without having to actually code the features twice. I'd guess that the modern theme is different enough from the classic theme that you can't always just copy-paste sections of markup or code from one to the other.

We're adding a lot of that back into the MSPA Classic theme.

    Re: MSPA Classic Theme

Awesome! I'm gonna start using the classic theme to get used to it.

This thread is intended to report bugs and issues just with the classic theme right? why am i asking the obvious

Really minor bug but here it is

Post new thread button covers up the breadcrumbs, and they don't work. Doubt it would ever be a problem but there ya go.

    Re: MSPA Classic Theme

That's weird, Acionyx. Everyone used to have that bug (Except in threads, it was the gray "Reply to Thread" button that covered the lower breadcrumbs), and then NaS fixed it. I don't see that problem here, or in the forum view.

    Re: MSPA Classic Theme

Is this thread still for some feedback on the style?

I looked at it again last night and all the posts kind of seemed scrunched to the middle of my browser. I dunno whether it's my computer or what, but on MSPA style there is only like an inch of space to each side of each post, and in MSPA classic there is much much more blank space there

That really bothers me for some reason though I'm not sure if bringing it up will matter to anyone. Just felt like I should get it out there for some reason. Sorry!

    Re: MSPA Classic Theme

The classic theme is not as wide on the page as the default theme, this was done to mirror the look of the old forums more.

If you think it's not displaying correctly, grab some comparison screenshots and let me know.

If one enters a reason when deleting, where does it show up?

And (actually not a theme question, but) how long can you edit a post for before it will be marked as having been edited?

Deletion reason shows up to mods and admins (who can still see your post even after you delete it) and the time before the edit message appears is two minutes.

While that is completely true, I don't think there's a lot of competition on the hot ferret field.

Why couldn't the secret poster just post here instead of going to FS?

+ Look at that google toolbar thing or whatever it's called

EDIT: Wait Pereza you're the poster

It took me far too long to figure out what it means to "dpme" a post.

When you "dpme a post there," you dpme a post everywhere.

The BIG question is, when do we get the forapocalypse theme?
That's the one that matters to me.

Also, I still think that you should edit the View First Unread icon () to be this or this.
In the least offensive way possible.

    Re: MSPA Classic Theme

hey, can you edit the theme and prevent this image from showing at the bottom of everybody's sig?

It's irritating to see a one-line signature stretched out to 80 pixels for no good reason.
