Thread: Homestuck Desktop Kit (With icons, cursors, logon screens, wallpapers & more.)

Well, I got bored and decided to try my hand at a semi-realistic Skaia themed desktop (click for full res):

And yeah, I know the Medium doesn't have stars, etc. etc. but I really couldn't force myself to make any of the other planets in the same style and an empty black space would've looked bad anyways.

I set .swf files to always open in Internet Explorer, which I never use otherwise. I then set Internet Explorer to always open in fullscreen, and put a .swf of the sburb loader in my "Startup" folder in the Start Menu. This played the loader but the taskbar would still show on top of it, so I downloaded an application which hides the taskbar and put that in startup as well. Whenever I turn on my computer I have to run the corresponding "Show Taskbar" .exe which I have on my desktop after closing the window, but I already have to start my sylladex manually from there so it doesn't really matter. Once I start my sylladex then the sylladex icon and "Show Taskbar" application are both hidden under it.

Oh, sorry! I thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal since they're just making out.
But, does anyone know about changing those?

This is my desktop. Yes, I kind of like Dirk.

The music player on the left is a Rainmeter, I did it myself after a sleepless night of messing around with this Rainmeter skin. I even did a Jake version.
Also, my cursor is Bro's cap.

Your name is Kururu4ever. You are a chronic Otaku and like to draw a shitty webcomic in Italian called Infel. You'd wish to translate it to English someday, but you're just too lazy.

You have to use an internet address. Upload it to imgur or something.

I thought to myself: Instead of mimicking existing themes or using any kind of fancy background, why don't I make my desktop as bad as possible? Am I going too far? Do I need more biznasty? Should it be more delirious?

After all, if I had a background I wouldn't be able to tell if something is part of it or not. Pesky things, wallpapers.

Tonight I'll be customizing my win7, and maybe my XP. The most homestuck I've done to something, my phone was completely Terezi. Over 300 pictures of her, over half of those were in an app and on the home screen. And the theme was her land, and all my apps that were on the home screen were homestuck related. Then I had a spazz out and leave the fandom moment, which was stupid so I gotta redo that. Once I find my phone. >.>
