I want to resubscribe now, but I'm still trudging through Fable III. Having never read much about the plot beforehand, I thought the King stuff was mostly end-game content, then it turns out that's pretty much the halfway point and I've still got a lot of shit to do.

So resubbing would just waste time since I'm focusing mostly on this game.

Also I had a bizarre WoW-related dream a few days ago. I'll probably wait until my next post to talk about it because I'm tired as fuck.

I duo'd Temple of AQ with another rogue, vanishing/Tricks of the Trading the threat back and forth to give the other time to recuperate/bandage. We did it with no trouble. Really, at this point, using that kind of strategy, you should be able to take down damn near ANYTHING you can survive a couple hits against with a number of rogues.

How did you manage Twin Emperors with no casters?

You know, I keep pondering friending people through RealID, but each time I consider it, there's the minor fact you have to give out your real name to do it. Unless, of course, you signed up without your real name... not all of us thought that far ahead. I really wish it was handled the way City of Heroes did it; you simply have a global handle, not the name you signed up as to pay the monthly fee.

Edit: I should note it's not my own name I'm afraid of giving out, just the slight invasion of privacy in asking someone else theirs.

This is funny because for me WoW occupied some weird space where when I didn't feel like playing any video games I could still play WoW since there was always *something* you could do, or you could just sit around and chat.

Its just, I'm a ROGUE. One of the squishier classes. I'm not even heroic geared. It was the hardest non-raid instance just 15 levels below me.

Don't you get a massive avoidance bonus versus things that much lower level than you?

I do not regret my decision due to the fact that it boosted my score majorly.

Maaaaaaaan WoW was fun when I played it. But alas, I has no way to pay the subscription fee, so I just freeloaded for a month. It WAS fun though. But in order to join you guys I'd have to start all over from level 1. Sad face.

I'm reformatting the guild's structure. Until I'm done with it, I've demoted everyone to Rank 10.

This also includes a change of rank names, possibly to better suit the name of the guild.

I will also be purchasing the 5th bank tab since, well, why not?

Anyway, here's a list of things that will probably increase your rank in the guild:

-Approved by leader: At Rank 10, you can't really do anything. If I invite you, you'll most likely be approved in seconds. If not, I might not until I can talk to the person who invited you(in the event that they're not a member of these forums) or until you post in this thread with your character name.

-Being a member of these forums: Simply being a known MSPA forumgoer will net you another rung in your Guild Echeladder. In the event that people who aren't on this forum join the guild, you get to lord over them with your superior rank and deeper repair pool.

-Reaching Level 60: By reaching level 60, you've proven that you are putting some effort into this character. As such, there's no reason not to bump you up another rung.

-Reaching Level 85: You've made it to the top, baby! Another well-deserved rung. At this point, you should have access to gold withdrawal and a pretty decent free-repairs fund. Moreso if you're a forum member, which would be pretty much anyone reading this post.

-Being a Coolkid: I'm not entirely sure how I'll handle this goal. I may promote you if you do a good job helping other members, or if you contribute goods to the guild bank. Thing is, I currently don't have an idea of how much of someone being good would merit this, as I don't want to simply give the rank away, but I also get the feeling that some would feel the favoritism card being played if I don't see everything everyone does. Maybe I'll leave it to the guild to elect a member for this, and we review what they've done and go from there.

-Possible Event-related Promotion: In the event I hold some event, such as the Tabard Design Contest back in December, this will likely go with the first prize. I'll probably only allow one of these promotions per individual.

I will post again once I'm done updating the ranks with a list of rank privileges, which may be later tonight or tomorrow. The bottom rung has a repair budget of 25g until I'm done, should be more than enough to keep everyone covered. Sorry if this inconveniences any of you in any way.

My lock hit 50 and my mage is rapidly rising through Northrend levels like whoah. I'm letting the rest of my guys build up rested.

Malcovitch, gnome rogue, 85 and just hit heroic gear score yaaaaaaaaaay. 525 engineering, but doesn't get the achievement because of the racial overleveling

Silvergaze, nelf druid, 32 and pretty much completely abandoned until I get her some heirlooms and stop not giving a shit about druids.

Kassafin, draenai hunter, 60, on the backburner until I stop borrowing her armor for my shaman. Leatherworker.

Sablewulf, draenai warrior, 39 so I will have to try and level him real quick tomorrow and bask in the glory of plate and epic riding. Dropped blacksmithing to go JC since I really don't need TWO non-miner blacksmith characters, he gets the racial bonus, and I didn't have one.

Kit, gnome warlock, 50, my tailor and one of my enchanters; finally got her to 350 after mailing her all the netherweave I'd accumulated on various characters, then PCH0000'D to 375 on frostweave with a similar huge stockpile of cloth.

Lacune, human frost mage, 70 at the moment. I love frost spec so hard you guys, you don't even know. procs, EVERYWHERE. Also digging my endless potions/flask, hooray alchemy :V

Vixine, draenai paladin, 83, currently ret until I can be bothered to relearn how to heal. Inscription, but I was lazy so I don't have a bunch of glyphs.

Frostii, human death knight, 71. I may decide to learn how to tank with blood spec, but until then, she just has to deal with being naked. My main enchanter, and also blacksmith.

Vixy, worgen disc priest, 44. herb/alchemy, probably gonna go alchemy/tailor eventually so I can get all of the cooldowns, all of them.

Kegtotem, dwarf shaman, 17. Going resto and leathworking. At low levels, healing is just silly. Step 1: throw earth shield on them. Step 2: wait to do it again once the charges run out. :V

Almost every single one of them has had their professions power-leveled as soon as they got to the next tier except the leatherworkers. :V

That list is surprisingly alot like mine, right down to the levels. Although my 83 is more like 85. I always tell myself I'll get around to leveling them all eventually, but I never do. Perhaps I will once our guild hits guild level 20 (level 12 right now)

Its mostly settled down now that I have one of every class. But yeah; I also have 8 on Thorium Brotherhood, 5 on deathwing, 3 on silver hand, and a couple others scattered, probably from when realms were down. :V

Then came ERETOR a Draenei Holy Priest which, when my main was stuck in deepholm, I alted for a while. He's at 54 now.


Anyway, the quests involving the red dragons in the twilight highlands are unmissable. You have to do it.

Holy crap that is intense. I had a lot of alts but the vast majority were under level 10. I think I got a hunter up to like 14, and when warlocks became less of a PITA to level and heirlooms came out I got up to like 45 with one. Technically I had a max level alt in WOTLK because I switched from my old 70 druid main to a DK and getting the druid from 70-80 was pretty effortless with heirlooms and support from my guildmates.

So, I think it may already be so, not sure, but if not now, perhaps next time the Public Test Realm is up, we should organize copying our characters over to it, for the sake of mindless shenanigans. It's about the only way I can think of to get us all into one place and hang out, while ALSO all being of a decent level, haha.

Played since 1.0 bitch! But I don't think I have near that much /played since I quit before hitting 60 in vanilla - Oh yeah, forgot I also had a 58 or 59 mage alliance side that I barely touched after I switched to horde, so that's some more "alts." I *did* actually have an exporbitant amount of time on that mage, though, because I wasted shitloads of time before I had a concept of the metagame. Spent forever getting every blue cloth/caster item from every instance when I hit the right level. I think I ran Scarlet Monastery something around 100 times before I got all of the caster gear from it. I'm not even exaggerating, I spent about a week of summer break running SM non stop for the entire day.
