Now that I've finished recovering from my minor heart attack, I can safely say I have obtained the new and improved Zinrokh, Destroyer of Worlds from Archeology. I heard story after story after painful story about how incredibly rare this thing was. It was... kind of my first troll solve after having the skill level to even see it. 25 skill points later, I was ready to create it. And yes I'm an orc warrior named after the owner of KoL. It's a long story.

I really should give it another shot. Any time I ever try to survey ever, I just get a message about being out of range or something. I just don't know where the hell I am supposed to go to start surveying in the first place basically.

Alright. Got it for christmas and downloaded it. My server is turalyon, though.

Are you meaning to say that this is your first time playing the game and it assigned you to Turalyon, or that you just got the expack and your old character is on Turalyon? If the former, you can choose any server, the game just suggests one based on population.

If the latter, you can ALSO still create characters on any realm up to a global limit of 50 :V

Wesley, if you look on your map (be sure to have "survey sites" on the bottom ticked) the archaelogy sites should pop up as shovels on the continent map, if you zoom in to specific zones there should be little red zones which are where you can survey - anywhere else and you'll get that "not allowed to survey" message.

Also each zone will run out after 3 successful fragment recoveries after which you'll also be getting the same message (which is telling you to MOUNT UP and fly to another zone).

Hope archaelogy works for you, it really is a lot of relaxing fun in my opinion.

Except now I want to update Gatherer, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where in the fuck my WoW folder IS. I can access the game itself through the Games menu and by the same token through Steam but the physical folders are not in my program files, my documents, or anywhere else I can locate

Just ran through SFK for the first time in about a year, and something fucked up so I didn't finish the story quests that needed to get done so I have to do it AGAIN. ;-;

I had a pretty good group the first time around but I'm not excited to sit in Dungeon Finder queues again.

EDIT: Hey I don't know if this is weird to ask but would anyone at a fairly high level be willing to quickly run me through SFK so I can get it over with? I'd just need to get a good amount of damage on three choice targets or so and complete the quests.

The dangers of doing too many dungeons. It's great that the pulled back the xp rewards from dungeon quests but it still seems risky if you want to enjoy everything in your current zone with some challenge.

Vash'jir kind of fell into the "Water Dungeon" category for me after a while, made me move on to Deepholme. I need to finish it. Maybe after I finish Uldum and Hyjal.

I know most of them aren't essential to plot advancement, but I'd rather just do them, but also I don't want to search for players in the regular WoW community because a lot of them are terrible terrible people that I don't want to deal with. Actually I guess it's technically called a group quest but the popup tutorial called it an epic one. :\

It's a series of level 25-or-so quests to kill a few big monsters. Shouldn't be too much trouble, but it's too much trouble for me to do it alone.

Speaking of deepholm, I can't play WoW because of it.

I went through the maelstrom, but deepholm is too laggy for me, so my high leveled character is stuck in it.

Everytime I enter the game with said character, the whole computer fucks up and I am forced to restart.

Have you tried lowering your graphics settings?

Failing that try leveling through the entirety of Vash'jir and then Hyjal, that *should* maybe get you up to 83 so you can head off to Uldum.

Make an alt and open a ticket explaining what happened.
I assume the GMs will either port you back to Org, or put you in Deepholm so you can be on your merry way.
