Waiting to play is kind of killing me.

To clarify, I was waiting to start a new character with some friends, but one friend did digital download of WotLK and the game refuses to let them upgrade to Cataclysm. WotLK is downloaded and installed, but her account is still sitting at Burning Crusade status and says WotLK is "queued". Blizzard told her that they need to "refresh the accounts" of people who have purchased digital downloads, but that they have to go through them one by one after processing payment, and so it's likely they won't get to hers for another 5 days or so.

What is this I don't even.

Hopefully gonna finish Vash'jir today after numerous delays(namely, waiting for my brother and his fiancee to be home and ready to play, curse obligations). The zone was awesome at first but it kinda falls into the "water level" category after a while...

Every zone soon has annoying mob spawns after the other players that are there the same time as you leave. Uldum has a couple of nasty ones with up to three mobs spawning right around you as you're just about to mount up and head to turn a quest in.

^Indeed. According to Blizz the only thing keeping them from doing it is because the mail servers don't play well when told to interact with other mail servers.

Anyway, is there anyone else on these forums that would care to make an alt on Deathwing, now that Cata is out and the guild is chugging it's way down progress lane?

Even with just 4-5 other people it's been pretty cool so far, and it'd be great to have more people popping on.

Heroic Deadmines is crazy fun.

It was also the fact that we were going in at the bare minimum gear level, went in again today and it was a bit better.

We still couldn't down the new 4th boss though xD.

All the other heroics are great as well, CC required and some bosses are impossible in the current blues (once you get t11 it should be a lot more doable).

I would indeed say that these heroics are harder than BC heroics, significantly harder in the case of some (H DM, HSFK, H Stonecore).

If you haven't been into REGULAR Deadmines post-patch 4.0.3 GET THEE THERE! All the bosses are updated in it as well and the heroic version only has one extra boss anywa (who is very lore significant, and well yeah all the other bosses have cooler abilities too).

Also I'd forgotten how leveled my deathknight was. 70 with nearly maxed out enchanting and blacksmithing.

Arrrrgh flying mounts, my only weakness!

Although considering I never managed to get a proto-drake even when I was fully ICC 25 geared and could crush all of the heroics, I probably wouldn't ever get any of them in Cata either.

I have yet to afford an epic flier. I have a time dragon sitting in the bank for if I ever do, and plan to eventually craft my super-gyrocopter if I get the addtional funds to.

Getting them isn't really an issue. Its being able to afford the thousands of gold to train 300 riding.

It took me two characters and three weeks at endgame to get enough gold for an epic flyer. And then I blow it on my second character that I don't play as often.

And then I stopped playing.

I umm... I've been playing my druid since September. What I did was take skinning/mining. Then just put all the shit I got from Northrend up before Cata, then all the stuff I find in Cata now. Made 8k gold in the past week.

Yeah, I guess I should start selling my mats instead of using them for a bit, while Obsidium is still going for like 10g a piece.
