socializing was a thing i did, then i realized that i didnt need to do it anymore because the good players would know my name and want to talk with me.
and besides, i never said i didnt help my guildmates, we were just super ruthless and demanding of each other. perfection was a requirement, tbqh, the druid subforum was the nicest to eachother because almost all of the druids were girls.
and it was pretty much required to call out someone when they fucked up.

i didnt play with pubbies often because they were almost all trash, and kept insisting that they "couldn't play better"
5 man dungeons got boring after the 2nd time i ran them for frost badges, ugh.

Fuck that super srs bsns :V I rolled with a guild that got up to farming ZA in TBC and all the way up to ICC 25 Normals in WotLK. No one was ever yelling or ranting or raving, we all had a good time, and the loot was fair. (One winning roll for the night, need before offspec before "eh, this would be fun to fuck around with" before DE)

Man, thinking back to it, I miss Karazhan runs. It was my first and still favorite raid. (I was only up to around level 56 when TBC hit)

I'm in beta, which can get pretty hilarious, because...well, you know. beta is beta.

I haven't replayed the Worgen starting zone so I don't know if this has been fixed but Darius Crowley apparently discovered cloning.

EDIT: oh yeah forgot to say he had a sound clip to go with that too. my poor, poor ears. to add insult to injury the quests that took place around him took FOREVER to complete with the dense amount of users in the starting zone. awful awful awful.

but it was fun in the end.

But seriously, I could never be one of those hardcore raiders. I haven't raided properly yet (been one like, one or two pugs, not worth mentioning) but I plan to next expansion but it'll be in a casual guild. (mainly due to time) I've spent the last 2 years out of battlegrounds and raids, and just hanging around cities, questing, levelling alts, etc. And I had so much fun. Really, the most fun I ever had in WoW came back when I was levelling my second character, at the same rate as my friends. We 3-manned every instance that was in our level range. We thought we were so awesome, and damnit we were.

There is nothing more satisfying than being the shortest of your class and still kicking the most ass.

Every fight looks like a boss fight when the camera is down at kneecap level. Plus as a rogue, I bicycle kick casters in the junk to interrupt their spellcasting.

By changes, do you mean the 4.0.1 changes? I'm a Hunter(you know, the class that got the shit beaten out of them with the 'change' stick), I hated losing Mana at first, but I'm getting used the Focus stuff.

You could join the Unreal Heirs. I'm probably going to try to make it a raiding guild in Cataclysm, but it'll be more casual than hardcore. Also may be a bit empty until Cataclysm comes out as well, which reminds me that I should start advertising the guild a bit and see how many MSPA fans are on Deathwing.

I just bought a Razzashi Hatchling for 2.5k. Holding it until Cataclysm comes out to see where the value goes.
Ever since the announcement that they'll be unobtainable in Cata due to ZG being removed, these things have been popping up for 3-4k each.
I bought it with the expectations that the value will go to the 5-7k+ range once it's officially gone.

I'm also going to ZG later to see how easy it is to farm these raptors.

But why would anyone demand 277 iLvl items for ICC? That's ridiculous!

If you currently have the Razzashi Hatchling item in your inventory, you'll still be able to learn the pet spell at a later point in time. It's not like the pet is disappearing completely; it's just no longer dropping from its usual home in Zul'Gurub.

In fact, I can confirm that the Razzashi Hatchling, being a clever and resilient little reptile, has already found a new home, and will be migrating there shortly after the shattering.

When we made the original announcement last month that certain pets and mounts would be removed, it was to inform players of changes that could potentially impact their gameplay. We know that there are many avid collectors out there and, whenever possible, we want to give players notice when a favorite item might be removed. In that same announcement, we also clarified that, while we didn't have any current plans to re-introduce the specified pets and mounts, if we happened to find a suitable location to add them back in, we would certainly consider it.

Totally reasonable, right?

Since then, we found an appropriate place for the Razzashi Hatchling, and it felt like a good opportunity to restore a pet beloved by so many. Naturally, we were excited to share this information with all of you, as we knew a lot of players were saddened to hear about the little guy's initial departure. There was no malicious intent, no crazy conspiracy behind this decision. We saw an opportunity to make the game more enjoyable that meshed with our design goals, and we went with it. Simple as that.

In the end, the worth of the Razzashi Hatchling isn't solely measured in gold, and it would be a fallacy to think that we create non-combat pets simply to provide players with something to sell on the Auction House for profit. To many, pets like the Razzashi Hatchling represent something fun and exciting, and that's just as valid a currency as any in World of Warcraft.

While I'm sorry you're at a financial disadvantage now, I'm hoping you're still be able to enjoy the pet for what it is (re: an adorable, head-bobbing reptilian sidekick) -- or, given that it will still be a rare pet, perhaps even find someone who will adopt it for a reasonable price. Good luck.
