I'm glad you asked, mezzoEmrys. I don't know if I will place in the contest, and while my hopes are high I must reaffirm to myself that it's quite possible that I may not place in the contest. Either way, I intend to release my tracks that don't make it into the contest for free download just like my previous works.

I'm glad you like them. At the moment, all of my tracks (excluding the contest pieces) are available for free download.

That being said, I'd very much like to join the Fan Music thread. So many talented artists find their way there, and I've always been shy in entering. Perhaps, now my music is finally up to par. Not to compete, mind you. Just to be apart of the community I feel that it may be time to retire my thread, at least in terms of posting. I'd like to keep the front page up to date though, as a catalog or otherwise.

I understand, but I must insist. I feel that it is silly to be separate from the other fan musicians: it's as if I was saying I was somehow "better." Implying that I am "better" is an outright lie, to be frank. Personally, I believe that I'm only now able to join the rest of the talented fan musicians because of my growth in this thread, and now that I feel ready to plunge into the actual fan music thread I can retire this separation.

I mean, what if I were to post new songs in both this thread as well as the Fan Musician thread? I feel that it would be a disservice to my peers if I did so, as surely I would only be looking for attention and drawing attention away from artists who have earned it as well. I believe that spamming my creations in the face of forum goers is not my intent, and doing so would only cause trouble. The intent of my music is to inspire, not to cast away those who are kind enough to listen.

I know, Moldova, that this thread is a great timeline of my progress as an aspiring artist as well as a catalog of my songs. However, I'd like to persuade you and other followers (whom I am very grateful to enjoy the company of) to follow me on Tumblr, Soundcloud and/or other services. I will be more than happy to connect with you with whatever service(s) you use.

I may update this thread from time to time. I just want it to be said that it was a great run getting here, and though my thread is being retired, I have no plans on stopping.

I'm afraid I'm still much too shy to post in the main fan music thread, and so I suppose I will post here again until I take another leap of faith. :S This thread is coming back online today, for the time being. Speaking of which, I have some updates in the meantime!



The unofficial Homestuck fan music album, Land of Fans and Music, is receiving a sequel! Three of my tracks (Rise of Lord English, Rectify and Irradiated) will be featured on the album. You can check out the project above or check out my updated (!) and remastered tracks for the album below!
