well I'm just talking about casual. I also dont even remember what the other swords were, I was bored of it by then :P
And years of continual power creep to cap.
I love the new 1/1 R goblin. Get's +2/+0 for every equipment on it and gets trample. Combine that with the new 1 colorless axe that's 1 to equip and at's +2/+0 we get a 5/1 with trample for 3 mana. hehe. Gonna be fun
I CAN COUNT DAMMIT!

I made a tribal deck for every single tribe in lorwyn/shadowmoor. Oh yes. Fairies forevah :3 (I had a fun CLEARLYNOTLEGAL deck that had no real combos, but lots of pseudo-tribal synergy between lorwyn, time spiral, and some ravnica stuff (bitterblossom, paradox haze, essence warden, wolf-skull shaman, oona's blackguard, marsh flitter, Nath of the Gilt-Leaf, and a few more elf token-makers.)
I built both but I prefered Elves.
Just loved churning out and then doubling my Elf tokens almost every turn. And Jagged-Scar Archers
My tribal decks are all weird. I have warriors, druids (currently in love with that one, recently changed it to be awesome), a weird goblin deck, knights, a FAST zombie deck (also in love with that), and a saproling deck. I'll post the list for the druids tomorrow, it's a fun combo deck.
What do you mean "used to"?
I never got into the whole Tribal thing... I guess because I didn't like Scourge too much.
The closest think to a tribal deck I ever had was a mono-white weenie deck - it had a lot of soldiers.
When my friends were still churning out Gobos and Elves, I was sitting nice and pretty with a few dudes being pumped by a Glorious Anthem and Crusade. Had a nice bit of spot removal as well... Comdemn and StP are nuts.
Now, I guess now it'd be Path and StP.

or path and condemn, if StP = swords to plawshares? That card is ooolld.
Night soil? Try Necrogenesis. My saproling deck still sucks but eh it's fun, especially in multiplayer when people don't pick on my until they really can't pick on me. And then someone plays an earthquake.
nono it's a joke
because
between fallen empires and time spiral
there were no saprolings
so
I was referring to the fact
that I am old
and all my best magic memories are now behind me
(and I really liked time spiral)
(also necrogenesis is pretty neat, since mana is easier to come by than creatures in a graveyard, kind of weird that they would put that in shards of alara, I'm sad I didn't get it in any of my packs)
So, hey, Mindslaver's being reprinted.
![]()
It's been reprinted in Core Sets pretty much ever since Mirrodin, along with Darksteel Colossus, otherwise I'd say those were shoe-ins. Or at the very least, some kind of remake/reference to them. I'm a little surprised they outright reprinted Mindslaver, instead of a new card based on it, possible one that somehow manages to one-up it in terms of ridiculous/awesome control effect.
Edit: Speak of the devil.

I LOVE IT!
Well, that's just not true at all. I know for a fact that Invasion block, Ravnica block, and Nemesis all had saprolings, of the top of my head. No thallids, i think, but lots and lots of saprolings, like, all over the place. Ravnica in particular was very saproling heavy.
This emphasis on boners has given me an idea for a new adventure in crime! Gotham City will rue the day it mentioned the word boner!
Wait.
Look at the set icon.
Its a Common. :U
