Not a real report, but just to let people know, If you use noscript for firefox, spoilers don't work right.
(You'll see them, but you can't actually open them)

Is it just me or are a lot of threads missing? I mean I can see some threads here that have posts from before the move, yet when I search for my own name, I get zero results. Or is that just a malfunction of the search?

The search index is not completely updated yet. It will be wonky for a while.

I'm getting "the forum is too busy" messages like a lot.

It's weird that you say birthdays are required, because I edited my profile before checking this thread without being asked for it. After I read those posts, I went back to my profile, and I didn't have my birthday set. I added it with no problems, so there's nothing I need fixed, but it was strangely inconsistent with simon.clarkstone's experience.

Post it in the bugs thread. I'll fix it.
Okay, crossposting from the Intro thread: The new character limit is 10,000 characters. I can't correctly repost/edit either of the intro posts. The first post is 12769 characters, and the second post is 28554 characters. Though it's prone to change because I have to edit it a lot reflecting the new forum changes.

If the character limit's going to go back up to 60,000 (I think) like it was before, that's fine, I can wait and just edit it to a truncated version in the meantime. If not, then one of the following would be good to happen:
    1) Would you be able to move three of my later posts in that thread to the earliest spots in the thread, so that I have five posts in a row to edit?
    2) If that's not possible/too much work for you, should I just post a new thread?

I don't think it would be effective for me to send it to you and have you post it with your magic admin powers, because I still wouldn't be able to edit the thread, which is what I try to do every time one of the threads linked to in there gets locked and replaced with a newer thread.

Click settings at the top of the page and then General Settings and there's an option for Default Thread Subscription Mode.

This is one of the things the import did stupidly.

Actually if anyone knows which style variable to edit in order to fix that, I'd be eternally grateful if you shared that info.
adding .unread a:link will let you change the colour of links to unread PMs, I'm still trying to work out what you need to do to colour the ones that have been read though, since it doesn't seem to apply a style to them specifically.

EDIT: .pmlist a:link .pmlist a:visited will change all of the links within the PM list, including profile links. Adding .commalist a:link and visited (or, in both cases just a without anything after edits all versions of links) changes the profile links, but it sounds like it might be something the site uses elsewhere, I don't know though.

The bottom "Post New Thread" button in this section hides under the thread display options. Not a priority to deal with by any means I know, but if there's some kind of list of problems, that should probably be on there somewhere near the bottom.

My username was changed to something ridiculous! I don't know if changing usernames is possible but I'd prefer "Azu" over this encoding failure.

What was it before, because there's already an azu.

It's just because we moved to a new domain, so people need to add it to their trusted list. This happened on the old forum too, if you didn't whitelist mspaintadventures.com.

Because I never got a chance to explain exactly what the problem was earlier, for some reason the sigma (the symbol on the left) in my name has been turned into these 2 other characters. When I view my profile page, the Σ is correctly displayed in the URL, but not on the page itself. Also, I have to use this new name to log in with, the old one won't work. That's pretty much all I've gleaned about it.

I dunno if you caught this earlier (since I had to keep going afk during the irc) but you can just change it to an E if that fixes the problem - having the Σ has been kind of annoying in certain situations anyways.

Thanks for all the great work you've done. =D

Edit: Okay now the 2 characters have become a single question mark and my profile page just omits a character altogether (http://www.mspaforums.com/member.php?57273-lementoid).

My attempt to reset it to a Σ has failed, so E it is.

The forum doesn't seem to register when I've read a thread. So when I click the go to first new post button, it goes to an older post on the page.

I found a change in behaviour that I really don't like. In the old forum, for every thread it was remembered how far along the thread I had read, but now it seems that every time I log in, only posts that have appeared since I last logged out are "new". In the new forum, once I have logged in I must read every "new" post I will want to read before logging out because the system will think that I never want to read them and mark them as "not new".

This makes catching up on a page or two in an idle moment impractical, whereas before it was the way I read most of the forum. (I would have to work around it with lots of bookmarking, doing the job of the unread-post-tracking system manually.)

Is there a simple option users or an admin can toggle to make the unread-post-tracking smarter? Or is it (as I fear) irreconcilable with the increased forum efficiency?

This issue interacts really badly with the repeated spontaneous logouts that I am experiencing dues to my slow activity.

OST, maybe this should have been in the "General Feedback" thread. I dunno.

Oh wow, I didn't notice that until now, but that's a big one. If it's possible to have the forum remember your place in threads between logins, it would be absolutely wonderful. That's a really nice core feature, and one of the most useful and basic differences between forums.

That sort of feature seems like it'd be pretty tightly bound to the software itself, so I'm also kind of worried that vBulliten won't be able to do it. In that case, we'd all learn to get along with out it (I'd just use my browser's bookmarks heavily). Small loss compared to all the beinifits of the new forum!

It's a cookie/inactivity based thing right now. There's a database option, but I'm not sure of the impact on performance, so I'm gonna see if things settle down first.

Oh, right. When I log out, I'm greeted with a message that says "All cookies cleared!" Perhaps there's simply a way for me to stop this from happening?

    Re: Bug Reporting

Okay, i've found a few things.
Firstly, aside from the obvious server overload messages, I get:
    Code:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 786432) (tried to allocate 1245184 bytes) in /home/admin/domains/mspaforums.com/public_html/showthread.php on line 1816
on a white screen on occasion too.
Second, I think some threads are missing from the Collab/RP section. I know Kyzak and mine is atm, or i'm blind. (its possible. :P)
(The thread in question that i'm basing this off is Trois Poole Noir, which is gone AFAIK, and I could have sworn there was more than two pages in that section.)

I get a lot of trouble in searches - all my old bookmarks disappeared. I've tried search for pxl and author aryogatron with no success

NAS did say that the search index will be borked for a while... Just... at the top of this page? :P

But yeah, i'm more concerned about the physically missing pages.
