Disappointed in poster's lack of clowns.
Also, Spectralysis, a daring forum adventure of aliens, and surely some non-SBURB related world destroying as well? It is pretty awful actually ok, and stay out of my signature, dude!
I posted in Obvious Things You Missed, in the MSPA Comic Discussion forum, two hours ago. I am the latest poster there right now.
My post is clearly viewable in the thread. But in the overview of threads in the MSPA Comic Discussion subforum, it doesn't appear that I am the latest poster there. It still shows the previous poster. While in other threads where I am the latest poster, I do appear as it.
And when I go to my list of latest posts, all of my recent posts appear...except for that one. And neither did the post get counted in my total amount of posts.
This is really weird.

Also, it doesn't appear as a new post in the thread in my subscriptions, though I am subscribed to that thread and upon viewing the post I do see it has the slightly-blue icon. The subscriptions list doesn't list you as the latest poster, and the newest post goes link goes to Arcanum's immediately-preceding post.
And now someone else has posted in the thread, and that is shown on the main page of the MSPA Comic Discussion subforum, but even this didn't add my post to my total post amount nor my list of posts.
EDIT: And editing that post doesn't help anything either.
It's not a problem or anything to me, I just wonder why this happened.

I actually had something like this happen to me in the Simple Questions thread last night. It followed a long delay after hitting the Send button, like in the forum issues of yore, but unlike the forum issues of yore, it never popped up a box saying "Are you sure you want to leave this page", it just never left the page at all.

I honestly have no idea if this is a bug or a feature or if this is even anything remotely resembling the correct location for this post, but-
Recently I noticed that trying to load the MSPA homepage (i.e., the first page of homestuck, which is where my bookmark is directed) instead redirects me to the last page I viewed. A bit annoying when loading a scratch page only allowed me to access a "search" field restricted to act 5 and 1-4 (if anything, this is the real bug).
It's not a huge problem, but I am wondering if this is something on my end or the server's. Has this happened to other people?
It's not the correct place, this is for bugs in the forum. On the other hand, there isn't a correct place for it.
Looks like you're one of the few people whose Save feature is still working. Hit Delete Save and that should clear it up, and if it doesn't, hit Auto-Save to turn it off and then hit Delete Save again (I can't remember if deleting your save cleared your auto-save settings or not) while the rest of us stew in envy and that.

I suspected as much for the first portion, and man, the save feature...it seems so obvious. I guess it's autosaving? I completely forgot that was even a thing.
Anyways, thanks, that did it. I must have clicked on it accidentally at some point. Never saw the need for save/autosave when the last page I was on is always a purple link![]()
Hi. When I try to go to this page: http://173.231.157.18/showthread.php...ere%21/page47& so that I can request quirk help, it shows me logged out. When I try to login, it logs me out. When I visit other pages I'm logged in.
The problem is with the link. Try out this link instead: http://mspaforums.com/showthread.php...ur-quirks-here!
I've found a very annoying problem. Sometimes when I try to post something, it says I must make my message at least 3 characters, regardless of post length. It's really annoying because when it says that it deletes my post and I have to write it again. It happens about a third of the time.

Don't know how to stop that bug, but I suggest you preview your posts. That way you can go back and get the post if/when there's a problem.
It's not always when I'm quoting something, but a lot of the time it is.
Also, even if I am previewing the post, if I send the post and get the 3 characters message, it deletes it.

The deal with the quotes is that the forum considers anything inside quote tags to be zero characters - I suspect it has something to do with the lack of direct nested quote support, but that's pure speculation. There are some other tags that behave similarly, with regard to the forum thinking they contribute nothing to the post length. I don't know offhand which tags have that effect.
If you can't or don't want to get browser extensions, you can do the same thing manually - select all, copy, preview, cross your fingers, see your post got eaten, paste, make small modifications to fake the forum into realizing you have over three characters, preview, post. I've used that general method a few times in the past, though more for when my connection is super flaky than to save from the post length limit.
Hm, the problem seemed to have stopped.
Thanks guys!
